  • i dont get it. i walked every step, AND MY EMERALD manager just doesnt work. why is that ? you got Skype or somethin?

  • Try going to system/prefrences/appearance - click on the visual effects tab and then select normal for you visual effects. This will either enable them or tell you they cannot be enabled. If it can't be enabled go to system/administartion/ hardware drivers - search for a hardware driver. Select whatever is recommended, restart, then do the first part again.

  • I think I have 2 old Video Card. it can't be enabled. I went to Hardware drivers and it just told me " No proprieatary drivers are in use on this system " .. the video is ; ATI Radeon 9200 PRO AGP .. Any advice what to do? or just i'm going to use Ugly Ubuntu ? :[ 10-Q

  • Yes I bet you dont have your graphics drivers, find drivers for your card and it shold work fine...your video card is better than mine actually and Compiz and Emerald work great

  • Thanks man ;) i just got ubuntu and that helped me alot :) thx alot
