The thing about Xtianity is that it is a different religion from Torah. There are no Xtian basic documents in Hebrew.
AND the best Xtianity can do is come up with Apostolic fathers like Ignatius of Antioch(c.35-110 CE) (Greek) AND/or Clement of Rome (c96 CE)

I don't agree with Schmuley on everything but I think his logic is more in line with the universe instead of believing that God would choose favorites. It would be like asking a parent to pick their favorite son or daughter. I think I remember reading somewhere where God is no respecter of persons and my father's house has many rooms.

The light metaphor is apt as it also expresses a binary system. God either exists or he doesn't. This is not a false dichotomy.
The biblical is a physical god, both in Eden & as Jesus but this is a red herring argument since neither scenario is necessarily any more plausible than any other. Or if anything, many anthropomorphized gods are more plausible than a single non-coporial god. Lastly, how do you know your god walked the earth in human form? Because a book said so?

I never assumed a position of "ultimate truth." There's no such thing as "ultimate truth." I simply said, "God is Imaginary. Get over it." Santa is imaginary too. So are leprechauns, genies, Superman, unicorns, dragons, Zeus, Thor, Mythras, and Bael. I suspect your not agnostic about any of these. It requires no "position of ultimate truth" or depletion of intellectual integrity. Agnosticism requires only that you be open to change your mind w/ evidence, not that you forgo taking a position.

We make absolute statements all the time. Ex. the light is on or it is off, but it can't be both at the same time. There's a scientific basis for making such statements as there is for determining that the biblical god is scientifically impossible
Now while the comparisons made are not original, they're not remotely "intellectually bankrupt." On what basis do you make your distinction other than this one just happens to be the predominantly accepted magical deity of your culture?

God is not a physical being, like all those gods you cited,who are basically just super humans;The're not spirits,and there's a big difference.
Second,God walked the earth in a human form. Santa and Thor did not.

Stop yakking against the Christians. You and the Jews are not better. Remove the violent passages in the Torah that command to kill people, none-Jews, women, and children to take their lands before you criticizing the Christians. The Torah that you are reading has been modified for political purposes to kill people and to take their lands. God Yahweh commands you not to kill, the Torah commands you to kill. You have to clean your Torah before yakking about the Christians.

It's funny to see religious people argue over there stupid beliefs. Can't they see that if any of the religions were divine, it would be easy to see?
I mean, if a god wrote any of the scriptures, it should be easy to tell which is right. Or can god not write as well as people?

Very good clip. R. Boteach makes good points. Please take the content of this clip seriously Christians. Joulbid, you cannot possibly challenge G-d's commandment: Do not Kill. I mean are you seriously saying killing is never ok? Is putting a serial killer to death just? Is defending yourself just? Is killing in an army just? Of course. G-d clearly means not to kill as a criminal. Also, Jesus DID NOT accept everything in the Torah that wasn't violent! He rejected the Torah and all its laws

Part 3 before you scream and criticise Jesus; gospel pray to the peaceful God Yahweh, not the bloody god of the modified Torah. Jesus commands to obey Gods Law [Torah] because it is peaceful. If the Torah contains violent during his era, Jesus wouldnt command us to obey it. On the contrary, he obliged us to obey it. Matthew 5:17 to 19.
