Poor Anthony Perkins, yet another fantastic character actor that fell victim to typecasting. He'll really only ever be remembered as Norman Bates and that's it.(Though he was also great in the delightfully sleazy Jekyll and Hyde reinvisioning Edge of Sanity)

Norman poisoned her tea. That's why he leans forward slightly, looks satisfied, then leans back when she takes a sip. The poison was starting to kick in when he whacked her with the shovel.

@potterpuff Yes Psycho 2, 3 and Psycho the begginging are all sequals to the original htichcock film thought all three were amde after htichcocks death and he had nothing to do with them. Psycho 2 was pretty good and the other two are only worth watching if you are a fan and want to know as much of the story as possible.
