@lovelyylife i'm not really sure. but the song in japanese from how i heard it had something to do with her lying about her accidents so that she can get her love to love her more. in japanese, it says that the cinderella who lied will get eaten by a wolf, so then she ask for her prince romeo to come and rescue her. i hope that helps at least.

I think the lyrics are like this girl loves this guy. She loves him so much that she compares herself to Cinderella, the maiden with bounding parents, and compares the guy to Romeo.

But in the end he's not the Romeo she thought and she's not the Cinderella she imagined. She's still bound to her parents. Her dishonesty got her back to square one.

I think this song resembles the age difference. When Vocoloid Miku Hatsune and Kaito came out Kaito was supposed to me roughly around 35 whereas Miku 16-17.

@Readyforourfuture It refers to the fable of "the Honest Woodman", who dropped his axe in a lake. The god Hermes saw this and tooky pity on him. He presented him with a gold and silver axe, which the woodman refused to take, saying that it wasn't his. For his honesty, Hermes gave him all three axes.

There are some variations of the story, but basically "the golden axe dropped on our heads" refers to the dishonesty that she's committed and the fact that she's going to pay for it.

To me, she basically wanted to please her boyfriend/this guy she likes while rebelling against her parents because she didn't want to be bound by them. Sadly, the guy didn't like her as much as she liked him. It could be debatable whether she did actually kill him because it could've just been a symbolic of the relationship ending. The main point is that her dishonesty didn't pay off. ouo

I mean if you just look at the lyrics without the PV, you can pretty much come up with your own story. I'm only arguing within the context of this PV, not that one.
