Nice car and congrats on selling it. One heck of a piece of america...

  • It doesnt make any sense how racist people can b man

  • holy shit its jello biafra.

  • Did'nt they have poly glass non radials in 72? Also the reverse lights seem to stay on. Just wondering.

  • how much?

  • thats an ss hood not a cowl induction

  • i believe that song came on at exactly the right time. That gorgeous car is absolutely bad ass

congratulations Jeff on owning such a fantastic vehicle. I'm sure you're feeling upset on parting with such a fabulous possession.

  • Thanks!

  • I watch alot of these videos and this is my favorite car. The way I would want a chevelle.

  • It's funny, I really enjoyed this car as well.

Driving it was a true pleasure...

    Jeff

  • Whats the chances that "spirit in the sky" came on?? Was that on the radio or taped?? ahahaha

  • Radio station! Got lucky...

  • its beautiful... love the green metalic and white interior my 72 is triple black with silver stripes

  • I really liked this car too. Sold it about a year and a half ago...

    Jeff

  • my favorite two letters!

  • ahh beautiful car nice to see that someone didn't ruin it with stupid 24" rims or anything

  • dont you mean niggers didnt destroy it?

  • ahh that is precisely what I meant! =D

  • my dad has the same car same paint job and strips

  • Last year there was one i could of bought just like this one for $4000 but it was white and still had the plastic over the white leather seats. Everything including the engine looked new just like this one. My grandma wouldnnt let me get it so i ended up finding a 87 trans am gta in really good condition but i still wish i could of got a Chevelle

  • that is one hell of a car. i have a 72 chevelle ss too. just picked it up in the summer and doin somework on it. i hope mine turns out as nice as yours

  • I love that sound! I bought my '50 Styleline coupe from a mechanic down the street....thought the 351 winsor, BUT it was a 350. He claimed it would never run again.

It just needed to be timed-BADLY! lol

When I got it running....MAN...I don't know what the first owner did, but it pulled like a freight train-even after sitting for 2-3 years!

Oh, my cousin wants to know...how much?

  • Thanks! This one sold a year ago. It was a blast to drive...

  • you can't tell the difference between a 351w and a chev 350?

  • all hot guys reading this hit me up on MSN Messenger ID jane22fall im bored xD A

  • Great car but isn't there suppose to be an opening on the hoodscoop close to the windsheild for the cowl induction. That hood looks like an L88 style.

A guy at my work laid out $40kCnd for a 72 396from autoselect and I think he got taken. 1st not tach or other gauges just fuel and speed.2nd It may have been a column shift.3rd it may have been a bench seat, but they just welded in some bolts very poorly for buckets and finally it says malibu on the doors. What do you think?

  • The Cowl Induction hood was optional. As for your friends car Hmmm, I'd rather not say.

  • Yeah I don't blame you. Sounds like he really should have listened to his friend who bought a real 61 vette. You know you gotta know a lot about the car before you buy it. Expensive lesson I'd say. Thanks

  • very nice car

  • Thanks! Yes, they did seem a little short. Everything else was spectacular.

  • Are those SS stripes on the trunklid a little short?..The ones on my 72 come down to the trunk lock area...Just wondering..By the way enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.

    J

  • sounds awesome. is the engine a L48 or LT-1. any mods on exhaust?

  • Original L48 with better heads and cam...

    ran real nice!

  • this car still for sale mate.

  • This one is gone but I have a 72 SS 454 Matching numbers, true Red SS coming in next week. $39,990.00

  • Beautiful car.. However.. the SS donsen't come with the small block.. So is this a SS clone? or did you downgrade to a 350? They normally have the 454's. The 69 chevelle SS comes with the 396.

  • Most people think the same but in 1972 the SS could be ordered with any V-8 Chevy offered. Even the lowly 307...

This was a true 350 SS. Thanks!

  • Oh ok! Thanks for the info. I like the 350's.. I have one in my 69.

  • my brother has a 1972 chevy chevelle and it has a 327 in it. would that be considered a true SS then?

  • Probably not. 327's were not available in 1972 at all. Hard to know about your cars begining but the engine can not be original. Hope this helps...

  • oh ok...that makes sense.

    thanks

  • thats a bad chevelle you got there! and the collor combo is beautiful but i cant stand when people have "show cars" Chevy dident make that car for it to sit around in a room. the only room a car should be sitting in is a garage and when its not in a garage it should be out there bieng driven the way it was design to. people are forgeting the point of a car. hell you might as well get 50,000 dollars and put it in a glass box and stare at it all day.

  • Guy's, this is one of the nicest SS Chevelles I have ever driven! See the Test Drive Video...
