At first, I thought the Tea Party was an offshoot of the Republican party. That was because the Left Wing media were where I first heard of the term "Tea Party". But, going by my habit of listening to as many POVs as possible, I listened to different news channels and did my research on this phenomenon. Not really it doesn't create any new industeries most of the solar panels and wind turbines are being produced in China (that's the bulk of the labor in producing solar/wind farms). @SmallpoxRot The Clinton Era tax rates weren't cut during a recession they were cut in 2001 under Bush. Obama has not cut anyones tax rates all he's done is extend some of the tax cuts from the 2001 cuts. He did reinstate a few of them such as the inheritance tax. The closest thing Obama has come to a tax cut is a credit which isn't a cut. You can only get a credit if you spend money in a specific way or buy a specific product. You are ignoring another point I made.

The big banks create money out of nothing, they then buy treasury bonds and the taxpayers pay interest on these bonds. People that are for Obama and against the Tea Partiers do not realize that private banks create most of the money in circulation each time someone borrows from them. If people stop borrowing the economy will fall. This is a very bad system but obama people and the anti tea partiers do not understand...

This reminds me of a story my Mom told me. My Canadian Mom was visiting Florida and she & my Dad got into a conversation with an American couple about health care. The American couple got really angry & started lecturing my parents on our "Communist" universal health care system, and how we have to go to doctors the government picks for us & a lot of other nonsense. My Mom said it was impossible to reason with them. They just raised their voices and started shouting.

define what "rich" means. What is "rich"? Who created the term rich? was it the media and the government? How does someone become rich? At first, I thought the Tea Party was an offshoot of the Republican party. That was because the Left Wing media were where I first heard of the term "Tea Party". But, going by my habit of listening to as many POVs as possible, I listened to different news channels and did my research on this phenomenon. I realized that the Tea Party was borne out of the citizen's frustration at the lack of avenues for address of their grievances. They are libertarians and I'd say I can relate to their views.

Too bad you don't realize the lowest income tax bracket received a 33% reduction in their tax rate it went from 15% to 10% that's a 5% cut but a 33% reduction in the tax rate. The rich got an 8% reduction. It went from 39.7% to 35% a 4.7% cut but a 8%

@SmallpoxRot reduction in the tax rate. I bet you think solar and wind is a great investment for creating jobs in the USA? Not really it doesn't create any new industeries most of the solar panels and wind turbines are being produced in China (that's the bulk of the labor in producing solar/wind farms). Now think of this it takes 3.3 MILLION solar panels to produce the same energy as 1 nuclear power plant. Nuclear Power isn't the monster and as dangerous as you make it out to be.

@SmallpoxRot The Clinton Era tax rates weren't cut during a recession they were cut in 2001 under Bush. Obama has not cut anyones tax rates all he's done is extend some of the tax cuts from the 2001 cuts. He did reinstate a few of them such as the inheritance tax. The closest thing Obama has come to a tax cut is a credit which isn't a cut. You can only get a credit if you spend money in a specific way or buy a specific product. You are ignoring another point I made.

You also failed to respond to the fact that Obama is out spending Bush at a 1.5 to 1 ratio. That means for every $1 bush spent Obama is spending 1 and a half. When compared to a 1.5 trillion deficit that's trivial. Though I will agree you have got to start some place. How ever you fail to understand that the USA has had trade deficit for the last 20 years or so. These trade deficits mean we are not creating real sustainable wealth in the USA. @SmallpoxRot and so will the value of the US Dollar. The USA is blowing through every penny it gets on pensions and retirements and social security. This leaves NO funding for "mandatory spending" of things such as infrastructure thus we have to take out loans to repair expand and build it. The US Government currently has an estimated $64.5 Trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities some put it well above that. That is from Democrat policies Social Security (FDR) and Medicare (LBJ).
