  • Bass music isnt a genre of music.

  • yeahhhhhhhhhh Roots manuva!! je suis fan

  • "He is talkig to Squid" at the very end? Ghetto Priest?

  • redlight and breakage are representing the nameless heavy bass genre, big up

  • Breakage sounds exactly like Will from the Inbetweeners.

  • Roots is a king.

  • only coming through left speaker D:

  • @DNBinca turn on your right speaker

  • what would shrimp sound like?

  • squid base haha :)

  • Breakage laughs at yall fucks... he keeps doing that nameless heavy bass music yall cant categorize because the right label is GOOD MUSIC. its rythms, bass and good music. good day.

  • @neopandorex2 my brothers best mates with him :)

  • @neopandorex2 yes mate you fuckin know it. Big up to all the real steppers.

  • 'He's talking to the squids!'...hahahaha, priceless!

  • You are talking to a squid! XD

  • big up the squid

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what a collab

  • "he's talkin' to the squid")) WTF? Captain Smiley is too weedy to talk seriously))

  • drumstep

  • I will try and help you guys. go ahead and waste your whole pointless stupid short lives labeling stuff. Have at it!

  • ITS HALF BEAT DRUM AND BASS.... done

    and BPM does matter

  • @deathbybob ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, you're a proper funny guy :)

  • breakage is hot xxx

  • haha he's talking to the squid! When i first heard i thought this combo was too good to be true but this is fucking heavy!

  • im feeling a coldcut vibe on this one...

    look forward

  • sounds like dancehall!

    nice!

  • definitely.

want to hear this on a proper rig. wicked tune.

  • @paralelSun good dancehall.

  • @et6yEhzxexzhrz you fuckin downy it's called Dubstep

  • Comment removed

  • @notts57 It could definitely pass for dancehall, though. In fact, most of the commenters on this video admit to it sounding a lot like dancehall (why single me out then?). The reason is that the beat has that distinctively dancehall kick+kick_snare. I'm prepared to say that the beat has more in common with dancehall than dubstep. Either way, this track is clearly a reflection of Breakage's eclectic palette from which he draws inspiration. It doesn't matter what it is, it's still a great track.

  • @notts57 well considering dancehall artists include Mavado, Teflon etc...listen to their tracks...this sounds nothing like Dancehall...completely different production techniques and compostional ideas...the only resemblance it has of Dancehall is the voice of Roots Manuva

  • @notts57 no, this isn't dubstep. For one, it's a little faster. Secondly - the snare is in the wrong spot.

  • @torment3d since when has it mattered how fast or where the snare is in Dubstep?

  • @notts57 since changing a beat's structure eventually creates a new genre? How do you think dubstep came about? =\

  • @torment3d yeah but for instance, Breakage - "Together" has the same beat as this, does that make that Dancehall aswell? No exactly

  • @notts57 does it have the same beat? *goes and listens again* No, you're wrong. Definitely not the same beat. Together has a much more "slow" vibe, as the kick drum are more evenly spaced out - where here in this track, Breakage has brought the first 2 kicks rather close, making it "dancier", if that makes sense??

  • @torment3d that's called tempo... Dubstep can incorporate an Amen Break if needs be, that wouldn't make it Drum & Bass would it? There are no barriers with Dubstep

  • @torment3d shit chatter?

  • @BassAddict2009 haha, as in how dubstep came about? :P

  • @torment3d theres no point trying to explain it to you, your obviously retarded.

  • @torment3d way to turn a discussion into yet another internet form of uselessness.

  • @paralelSun no not really lol

  • @notts57 *poop*

  • @paralelSun You heard Quaristice i take it? (Parallel Suns)

  • thats not d n b lmao

  • listen to the BPM. lmao at 1992...

it's certainly closer to dnb than dubstep.

  • @xecut10n3r : I'd say this is DnB as the BPM seem to be in DnB range rather than dubstep.

  • @theGanj bpm doesnt matter

  • @theGanj

if the genre differences were just about bpm this would be more like hardcore. imo this tune doesnt have the characteristic drum pattern of dnb or jungle, nor the one of dubstep. why not just call it grime?

  • dancehall beat.

  • @Awesomopower agree

  • roots manuva basically single handedly invented both dubstep and grime, respect to the king

  • lmao 3:55 aahaha

  • what's this genre called ?

  • @xecut10n3r errr.. dubstep!!

  • haha 3:45 How mashed is he... Bigg up Roots and Breakage
