Betty my gf made this yesterday morning for breakfast, but she left out the bacon because I dislike bacon. I have to say this is the nicest breakfast I have had, so thank you for sharing and inspiring. Your recipes are always so nice and so simple to follow. :-)
I used cresent rolls biscuit dough..flattened it into a circled pan..added the cooked sausage or bacon, the shredded hashbrown, cheese then the eggs went on last..yours looks extremely good! =))
@bettyskitchen Hi I found a Giant Size package of pre-cooked bacon at my local Costco. The bag is really pretty Big! It's pre-cooked so all U do is microwave it. I priced it to regular uncooked bacon& to my surprise the pre-ccoked bacon was cheaper and I got more. It was eihter Hormel or Farmer John. It did not cost much at all& the bacon was GOOD and I got more than if I had made it myself. If you have a Costco look thru the fridg. part &try that Big bag of pre-cooked bacon. It's Great bacon:)
Wow i accually had a freind who made this once an he did a odd twist to it, he added some carlic butter an tuna to it. Im sorry but i couldnt stomach the smell or the look of it. But betty i will say this, your version is sooooo good, i think i might make this sometime this week :)
I don't think I would like tuna for breakfast, but you can use bacon, sausage, ham pieces, or Canadian bacon--all of those are good! Thanks for planning to try it!
Definitely! It might be even better! I would cube the potatoes and cook them in some oil on the stove until they are done before proceeding. (I think the frozen hash browns are partially cooked, so it's going to take a little longer with fresh potatoes.) It definitely will come out great!!!
The Mexican Rice recipes is one of the best recipes I have posted. I don't really like rice, but I love this Mexican Rice! Thanks for trying some of my recipes!
I laugh every time you bring out the bacon from the freezer, because ever since you showed that first video for it... I have been baking and freezing bacon by the package! Thanks Betty, and by the way that fresh dill dip with the beau monde seasoning was a hit:) Thanks!
It's mainly because if any grease spatters, I would rather have it on the back wall, which is melamine and easy to clean, instead of it popping on the floor or my clothes! A little safer, too.
I don't eat this much for breakfast normally! But, I do believe in the philosophy that if you eat healthy foods most of the time, then you can have an occasional treat! Thanks for your comment!
Yes, I have a few of them--if you will search using the words "crock pot" that might help you find them. If you don't find them, let me know and I will send them to you! Thanks for your interest!
Thank you! You have some really great stuff on your channel. If I can shake loose from my channel for a bit, I plan to head right over there! Have a great day!!!
What fun preparation!! My brother and his kids are coming to visit soon and this will be a blast for them, thanks for sharing Betty and once again great recipes.
Oh, I am glad you mention involving kids. They can help make it; if not, they will enjoy it in "pizza" form more than just the normal breakfast. I hope all of you enjoy it!
Almost--I think I need to slow down--I just have about 50 years worth of recipe collecting and creating to share. I'm using my uploads as a way to get them organized!
that looks super yummy. i really dont eat anything big for breakfast i only eat a yogurt or cereal and sometimes muffins a very small and light thing but this is great i hope ill try it someday betty
Thank you for your sweet comment! I usually don't eat much for breakfast (just egg whites and black coffee), but this is something I will make an occasional exception for--It is very good! Thanks for viewing and commenting!!!
Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you like the looks of it. It did taste great--and you can change it up, depending of the types of breakfast meat and cheese that you have!
