At any rate, the reality is a lot of trans women have primary characteristics of females, its simply the case not many step forward for studies. And with good reason, of course.
I know trans women who have hips that don't lie. Pun intended. Who's to say trans women don't have the same bone structure? There aren't many available to find out. One of my best friends is 5'9" and has a big ring finger? I've known her since grade 8, I doubt she's trans.
Some men do get the surgery or in general just have things to hide from themselves. But, the women who date men are more often than not 99.9% women. the -0.1 is for anyone with a pixy cut under 30.
that's the flimsiest argument i've ever heard. the shape of a bone defines an woman? does pelvis size not vary among women, even in proportion relative to body size? besides which, when she takes hormones, the bones start growing again. they're artificially stimulating the puberty of the other sex.
transvestitisms is a fetish of dressing up in ladies clothing and don't identify as women
transexuals and transgenders, or transpeople, = incongruence between physiology and sexual identity.
and what you're calling being misleading is a woman telling the truth. the problem is not surprise or dishonesty. that's victim blaming. the problem is transphobia and homophobia.

List of unlawfully killed transgender people (you'll notice that a lot of them are people they weren't dating and that the general social response is victim blaming)
I enjoyed watching this :). It's a pleasure to see how you've revised your opinions based on the information you got and uncovered yourself. I think the most important thing to knows is that there is a risk for everyone when a transperson discloses, so they prefer to tell people that they trust enough and think they will be understanding. If you try and get to know someone before you have sex, I think you should be told, but if you don't bother, you have no right to expect to know any history.
@zesisman "there is a risk for everyone when a transperson discloses"
"Chanel Larkin was propositioned one night by Andrew Olacirequi. According to the murderer, who has confessed, she had asked him to confirm that he was comfortable with her having male genitalia. It was at this point that he shot her in the head three times."
Also its not just violence, but the possibility that an insensitive person might out the transperson to anyone who listens thereby ruining social contacts and careers.
As far as I know the pelvis is a secondary sex feature. This means it is not present at birth and the shape of the pelvis changes in adolescence. Any transperson who started hormone replacement therapy sufficiently early would therefore develop a bone structure appropriate to their target sex. Also there is significant variation in the waist-hip ratio among natal women themselves, so I see no reason why a transperson may not find themselves within the overlapping range.
@iamlilyy I can't post links, but check out Wikipedia: Body_shape#Skeletal_structure, for the source.
Widening of the hip bones occurs as part of the female pubertal process,[8] and estrogen (the predominant sex hormone in females) causes a widening of the pelvis as a part of sexual differentiation.
In the same vein, a broadening of the male shoulders may not occur given limited exposure to testosterone in the adolescent transitioner.
Also for the record, I know a girl named Emily, who his straight as an arrow, and has a deep voice. But as far as know, she's a cisgirl.
