@altstorm118 can,t understand why you said that. why do you think america got to use the imperial system, it came from england ,we invented it. our speed limit signs are in miles per hour .(imperial) .when you go dowm the pub and have a pint (imperial). when you play football we talk about distance in yards(imperial). its not a total metic country .we now use both. . this is something thats been forced on us by the EU.
@1967RTMOPAR I remember when Canada went metric back in 1976 or so. There was a local gas station that refused to switch over, selling in gallons for months after the law came into effect. He had lineups around the block 24/7. Eventually he caved in. All these years later, and I still think in Imperial measurements.

Inches is American. We use metric in Britain.
