  • if infected with this virus... how many months will it take before you get cured?

  • oh fuck i think m dying! fuck u hep c

  • Living with STD is a hard life to many people. When I found this site STDslove. com (my favorite STD dating site) I was once again hopeful. There are many sexy girls and hot guys who are seeking match living with the same STD here. All of them are friendly and informative.

  • thank you 4 your marvelous presentation!

  • I have a stomach virus does that count

  • this video will really help me in my biology exam

  • I like it thank you really good explanation of HCV

  • The liver is a round red glandular organ that has several important functions. The Hepatitis C virus is a blood-borne pathogen and primarily affects the liver. This virus contains RNA as the genetic material in its core. The virus enters the body, circulates in the bloodstream, and attaches to liver cells. Once attached, it releases its RNA into the cytoplasm of the cell and translates its proteins using the host cellular ribosomes. The viral RNA replicates itself exponentially

  • @bboiprfsr: If it is of any interest, we placed a naturopathic approach for hepatitis and liver issues on our channel in the comment section.

  • These new viruses infect other neighboring liver cells; eventually, this process shuts down most of the normal functions of the liver cell and damages it. The symptoms of hepatitis includes jaundice, mild fever, muscle and joint aches, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and fatigue. This infection may continue for years and eventually result in scarring of the liver tissue called cirrhosis. Liver cancer can also develop in later stages.

  • @bboiprfsr You're right the fact that the virus infect other structures, and not only the liver itself, is the reason why hepatitis C can reapear even after a liver transplant.

  • The vid shows that the viral RNA enters the livercel nucleus... but thats wrong, It gets copied and viral molecules are made in the CYTOPLASM

  • i'm pretty sure this video is wrong in saying that the virus causes cirrhosis. it's the chronic inflammation that does this. the immune system destroys the virus by killing infected cells (liver cells). inflammation is one method employed to help kill these cells. over time chronic inflammation causes scarring and permanent structural damage (like in rheumatoid arthritis and asthma). so i'm not so sure this video is 100% accurate. correct me if i'm wrong tho

  • @bradryan89 the virus is not directly citopatic for the liver. Its not the virus itself that promotes the damage, in fact, is our immunologic cells response to the virus that provide the damage, thats the reason why we give immune sistem modulators as treatment. But i believe that the correct affirmation is that Hepatitis c is a risk factor for cirrhosis. In fact if you get HCV you have a risk of 85% of staying with cronic infection, and then 20-50% of these people get cirrhosis in 10-20 years.

  • Hepatitis C infection can cause deadly symptoms. The video illustrates well.

  • cure hepatitis and liver problems with olive leaf and milk thistle, miracle reds, marco greens, and nature's way alive whole food energizer multi vitamin.

  • my sister passed from this. it all happened so fast and I am still unsure of how it all happened, I was only 9 or 10 yrs old.

  • me boy a morir..:(

  • i was diagnosed with hepatitis c.. im 18. this sucks. my eyes are all yellow and so is my skin. its ugly i can't wait for it to go the fuck away. :(

  • I really hope things improve for you, I was infected with the virus in 1978 by a tatoo artist not cleaning his needles, I am very well but I dont drink at all and have'nt for many years though I was never a drinker anyway, I take milkthistle every morning and am very lucky and I wish you all the luck in the world

  • @2wheelsteve I contracted Hep C (genotype 2B) virus by a tatoo artist in the early '80's'. I too take milk thistle twice a day. I don't show any symtoms of the disease either, for which I am grateful. I am told that this particular mutation (2B) is very sensitive to Interferon treatment, and that it's possible it would only take 4 weeks of treatment to kill the damn virus. Not sure if I'm willing just yet. Kinda afraid of being sick from the Interferon.

  • @den1se60 Good luck and like you I really believe milkthistle is doing a fantastic job of suppressing the virus's damaging capability

  • @den1se60 active hepatitis (inflammation of the liver) is often assymptomatic, only a small portion of people actually feel sick. you should be getting regular blood tests to see if your liver is being damaged regardless of how you feel

  • @2wheelsteve You sick bastard, you got infected after you fucked the neighbor's pets SO gross, & disgusting IMO!

  • @loveunderlaw And people wonder why I'm pro-choice, you insensitive moron. Way to prove the human race's fallacy... Go back to the trees and evolve a little before you get your hands on a keyboard again, kay? :D

This is an epidemic, but there have been amazing strides in finding a better cure. Right here in Texas, people are at work creating hope for those infected with hepatitis C. Everyone, keep fighting the good fight and stay safe.

  • @missunderestimated Why are you trying to interject yourself into something that has nothing to do with you? I agree with Pro Choice too, your parents should've

given you the choice of being fed to Lions, getting raped to death by apes, or

tossing you into a fucking Smelter LOL:) STFU stupid cunt, & when you grow

a brain(that'll be NEVER) you can get back to me. In the meantime just go hang

yourself already, you pathetic waste of life...

  • @loveunderlaw you are a sick and nasty person. I have no clue what would warrant that kind of disgusting comment but you should be ashamed of it. No one wants to read comments telling another human being to take their life. Sorry. I work with many types of sick people and you just may be one of the sickest, my advice, get help.

  • @loveunderlaw wow that was sad.....there are ways to heal the pain you carry. yeah yeah I know you are going to say just another full line of same stuff, however, consider if you can for a brief moment what is going on inside and then go a bit deeper.....hmmm, how about you tell us what it is that you are hiding and dont want anybody to know about you? What would be the most scary thing to tell us that you never ever would say?....

  • So thats how I got this man if I hadn't gotten surgery none of this would have happen

  • "you make it real for me"

  • I am a health care worker from back in the day. Immunized against EVERYTHING, our blood handling methods were atrocious. Diagnosed w/ HCV in '93. I also have tattoos, piercings, but all this pales to a memory of my little skinny 4 or 5 year old arm being immunized with a jet gun in '64, '65. That gun went from arm to arm, no needle change. The peak HCV patient load is in the 40-49 year range. That my dears, is where this bastard came from. Not from a 3rd world country: good ol US of A.

  • @agentkerri99

cure hepatitis and liver problems with olive leaf and milk thistle, miracle reds, marco greens, and nature's way alive whole food energizer multi vitamin.

  • @larrylopez420 how does it work?

  • Every bit as bad as HIV. Perhaps even worse because it's more infectious than HIV, and there are fewer drugs to treat it. Where has this bastard come from?

  • so many people have this have not a clue . and snorting coke and tattoos are a good way to catch it

  • Or just being a regular person, there are many people who have hcv and don't know how they got it. Having a blood transfusion before 92, I had one in 86 and I have hepc too.

  • yeah i know so many people got infected just from doc offices trying to save a buck and doing stupid things like reusing instruments, i too had a blood trans before 92 so yeah who knows where it originated

  • Blood borne pathogens.. it can also be present in secretions of patient infected with the virus;

stools, urine, saliva, sputum and even swet..

It can pass through even in the skins smallest cut

  • How does someone catches this?

  • mostly through blood but can be passed through salvia as wel

  • Comment removed

  • Really? Wow! People have to be VERY careful, out there, nowadays!

  • It can't be passed through saliva, thats hep B, it can only be passed blood to blood.

  • ya u made hepititus clear and i dont want it

  • It's seriously interesting. But I have a question: What's the difference between Hapatitis A, B, and C? Are they different viruses or what? Different symptoms?

But back to the video, 5 STARS!!

  • i love these animations. I know about the stuff but seeing it in animation makes it make even mroe sense.
