@genestarwindjf80 What state? No need to go to China (Hong Kong really) for Wing Chun. Plenty are in the US and a lot of schools on the West coast and NYC but I've heard some of the senior students left to open their own schools in the middle of the US as well. Having easy Wing Chun access is the few bright spots of living in NYC... still want to leave though. Some DVDs are good for basic instruction.

Interestingly, athletes are turning to traditional MA's to up their game and health.

Grandmaster Master Ip Man will practice Siu Nim Tao about an 1 hour daily. That's the foundation of the Wing Chun Kung Fu system without first mastering it(which takes 3 years) the next two other forms will be meaningless. Practice and patience is key!

It's about being your superior being and always being positive and able to attack life with confidence.Tournaments and competition is great but it is not something everyone has to do just because you train.
