  • little sister...I FOND YOU!! :D

  • there are so many movies that remind me of the grudge it's ridiculous!!!

  • American horror movies = *music* Boo!

Korean/Asian horror movies = suspence ...scary scenes

Result? Korean horrors > American horrors

  • these movies always the same: little girl ghosts again and again

  • Im still waiting for mister chow in an asian horror movie saying "what are you talking about willis" to one of the ghosts

  • Why is everyone complaining about the ghosts in Asian horror always being pale with long black hair? That's how the ghosts look in Asian culture and folklore, kind of like how here in the US ghosts are all merely transparent. It's a difference in culture, if you don't like it then don't watch it. It's that simple.

  • It's Alma!!! :O

  • 1:02 CHING TOW SUPRISE BIRTHDAY!!!!

  • hey, what is the plot about?

Why is there two ghost girls?

  • Oh my God! It`s Lee Dong Wook! <3

  • Finally someone tries to fight back :D

  • Como sempre: uma menina de cabelo comprido, preto que vira um espírito satânico!

  • hmmm. most of the asian or precisely korean horror film, out in 2006. i wonder why.

dang, this scared the shit out of me. :O

  • haha fight !!! anyhoo trailer looks ok :D

  • That wasn't scary.

    You want scary? Follow me.

  • @ThirteenVolumeOne GODDAMNIT MAN!

  • too much ghost appearance makes it look not scary....

  • I've seen this movie before!!! I didn't know this was what it was called!!~

  • why there's always a fuckin little girl in all these cheezy korean horror movies?? Can they do something else plz..

  • @galadrion2 Do something? Now you want all Asian movies to be hot sexy blondies? Really. Well go Asia and see whats diffrent from USA and Asia. And tell me why you hate these movies? You know I'm not being racist. =/

  • i like this movie. i remember watching arang around midnight. wow i cant watch asian horror movies at night anymore! WAY too scary. :)

  • I've noticed this is in most asian horror movies that women were the most used villains, I wonder why...

  • @cdutta1990 I think it has something to do with the legends. Women in Asian legends are usually vengeful spirits in their death. Plus, women in general hold grudges so easily. Women are more likely to die in horrible deaths than men.

  • this movie has a great images of horror, and combine their epic color and poses of actors... thanks for this trailer.

  • If it's a woman/girl (and it ALWAYS is) you can bet they were killed in a car crash. Not a big deal, of course. It's still scary.

  • @GilliannotGilligan The girl was raped.

  • This is Justakid12 on my other account ;] ,

CORRECTION : ASIAN horrors > American horrors.

    ;D

  • This one looks really good. I'm looking into learning Korean so I can understand these movies and my k-pop music. Is it really hard to learn?just asking anyone who knows... hahaha.

  • @Nuggetx13 Spend a few years watching korean shows online and you'll pick up some words you'll be able to speak. It happened to me with japanese which is why I avoid my favourite stuff before exams. If I've got a language Exam then I could think of those words instead of what I should think of although that could be due to my obsessive love of anime and my hatred of school.

  • At 3 o'clock in the morning, alone at home this movie is definitely fucking scary! One of my favorites so far.. but shouldn't Lee Min Ho be in it ? Wiki says so.

  • i know! seriously has been bugging me! They keep coming out with similar named films that are just awful >_>

  • 1:11 is quite an attractive girl :D

  • Why do all the Asian ghosts have dead white skin and Long black hiding the pretty face?? From what I read it has something to do with japanese myth about 'mistress owia'

  • btw,who is mistress owia?..what is it about her in the myth?..can you tell me or give me a site about it?..thanks..

  • @bastardperson666 ...check out Yotsuya Kaidan on Wikipedia, it offers a very good account of that famous ghost story

  • @geekeing thanks alot! i'll check it out..

  • @Easel100 ...that image has been popularized by the success of Ringu and Ju-on. Both these films get that image from the traditional image of Japanese ghosts from the Kabuki Theater

  • @Easel100 isn't Oiwa?

  • i think its like all these basic asian horrors - like ju-on and ringu - hmn.

  • this trailer is not scary. in fact, i thought the possesed girl looked pretty to me. am i weid? :(

  • @FrostedBlackCandy

    no, she's sexy ;D

  • Whats the song in the end???

  • because the girls are pale from death and they don't have a fkin beauty stylist or eyedrops nub.

  • all of the scary characters seem to be similar but they still creep me out.

  • why do americans always talk shit about our horror movies compared to asians? its like saying anime is better than american cartoons. who cares. just watch the crap. country an race dont matter. its stupid, i mean all german work out videoa are better than americans lol. just start that humor

  • doido uauauaua

  • wow lee dong wook is here in the movie^^

  • hihi yeah xD

  • is there anywhere i can watch this with english subs? ive looked for this film everwhere in stores, and i cant find it anywhere, because of where im from.

    Xx

  • Yepp I have a link!

It's free to watch also, and the site is amazing! They basically have every asian horror movie ever.

    htt p :/ /asian-horror-movies. c o m /arang. p h p

I randomly put spaces in there so get rid of those XD Enjoy the film.

  • @FrEaKfAiRyTaLe

thankyou so so so much :)

  • Korean horrors > American horrors.

    [: Yew know its true.

  • Korean horrors own =3

  • @Justakid12 and asian horror movies will always be better because the ideas used in asian horror movies surpass the current american horror, and they cant steal the ideas so unless american horror movies can come up with an idea that is scarier than asian, then it will always be asian horror > american horror

  • @Justakid12

    .........but

American > Korean when it comes to Variety of talent.

(how many african americans do they use in Korean film?

    ......................Though so!

  • @LauraBeachnut

How many african-americans lives in Korea, that can act ?

    Thought so.

  • @Alcatis

Possibly an abundance, but much like the American Asian people they do not give them any sort of a real chance for work so what difference does your question of statistics make.

It's weird how white, asian and latino people always have auto-cop outs to get out of their B.S.

I guess you are going to say they don't get hired in their restaurants because they, "do not apply" or "have experience" next.

    PU-Lease!

  • @Alcatis

    watch?v=WPf97GdYK3o&feature=related

    watch?v=imKZno7yJjs&feature=related

    watch?v=NNzVckIKBFw&feature=related

    watch?v=WrjpXIZWr-8&feature=fvw

    watch?v=2cTbqheFvpI&feature=related

.... I could keep this up, but you and I both know that you are WRONG!

  • @LauraBeachnut

    This is Justakid12,

Barely any african americans probably live in Korea either way.

And even if african americans live there, obviously theres not alot that can act.

So who cares about Variety of talent, the movies are still better.

  • @LauraBeachnut theres a ton of korean movies with varieties of talent. you just haven't seen any yet lol. and they don't really use african americans in their movies because hardly any african americans live in korea.

  • @claustrophobic1234

    watch?v=IK2pIbmoY14

  • @LauraBeachnut how many koreans are in african films .?

i suppose you got a problem with people wanting to watch a koreans in their own movies...

  • @bemmy69

i see you LOVE to TRY to put words in my mouth. I never said that at all.

Im just saying it seems they go out of their way not to use african american actors.

    the truth is laughed at

    then ridiculed

    then becomes commonplace ~ ghandi

  • @LauraBeachnut

how do you know what they do? the film doesnt need an african american in it, does it need a hip hop video and bytches in it as well? every film must have a black a white and an indian and a homosexual, thers your variety out of the window, if your not african american you must be a white left wing nut job

  • @bemmy69 I see, so you like to equate African Americans with "hip hop and bytches", as you say. I can tell that if this is your umbilicus to black people, you have no clue of who they are. Your tone is very clear that you do not like black people. ALSO, After viewing your page I see that it only has asian and white in your favorites but more notably you comments and petty arguments about "racism in russia" tells me racism is your life. This is petty. You want to live as a racist.. GO AHEAD
  • @LauraBeachnut Obviously they don't use any blacks in their films because most black people are to racist to actually even go live in an Asian country.

  • @sawdum Is that so?

  • great movie!!

  • looks like the trailer ruins all the scary parts

  • horror movies are the best (o^--')b

  • I love asian horror movies, I have downloaded around 50, most of them are great, but I prefer korean and japanese than Thai.

  • Most of all japanese or tai or korean movies look the same!

I meen a girl with black long hear kill many people only because they have a curse or something

    sorry for my bad english

  • it been written down many times: the big black hair is because of they had a traditional ghost caracter, that looks like this.

and... those ghost can't be blonde, or redhead right... asians have dark hair. :)

  • I know but why is all those films with a girl that people kill. And those girls have a curse or something and the girls are killed. But very good movies. I like the grudge!! with that voice its freeking me out! And the ring and shutter but this one is good

  • watch ju-on

american versions of asian horror movies always are worse

  • @SkarlatAsszony ghost can have white hair...

  • @SkarlatAsszony if the ghost were blonde, she wouldn't be a very bright ghost. =P *JK*

  • they all look the same because they are YUREI, a type of vengative asian ghost very common in their culture...are pale and have very long black hair ( all the asian are pale and have a black long hair, duh) and almost always is a female yurei, because in the past, the death of the men was related with some battle or heroic act, oposite to the women death, related with suffer, rape or injustec..and for that reason the yurei come for revenge...and sorry for my english too

  • Check out Shutter, thai version, is so fucking scary, i meant it , no joke, fucking creepy!

  • yea, you're right! it's my favourite, of all asian horrors. rulz

  • i want its music. it' soooo good

  • this movie was sooo sad :( omg

    the story was soooo good!!!!!!!

  • Guys, I was just wondering, if you think Korea copies Japan, you're wrong. Koreans were the first to create the long-hair thing. I know some of you know about "Yotsuya Kaidan", but Korea's "Cheo-Nyo Gwishin" was created 100s of years before Japan, so please don't say korea copies.

  • nobody copies nobody.....

its part of the culture so it goes thousands of years back.....

most asian ghosts have long hair....not just japanese or koreans

    ...so yeah.....^^

  • I thought that was over already? Anyways, sorry, I was only saying because I was so angry after the agrument I had with someone saying Korea copys Japan, but like you said, no one copies no one, so that person is just lame.

  • opps......didn't notice the 2 weeks old thing.....sorry about that....and u r so totally right.....that person is just lame and i see why u would get when somebody insults korean movies......

  • Yup yup, I mean every country has their own things, right? No one copies anyone...

  • yup.....^^

that is pretty much what i meant...hehe

hey is this movie any good??? cause i don't really get it.....O_o

  • Same here, the story was a little weird, which was pretty disappointing. The mood is VERY scary though

  • asian horrors are amazing :)

  • Most of them are fucking scary. Sorry for the language.

  • I so agree. Don't you think Korean and Japanese ones are the most shocking films ever?

  • yes....but THAI ones kills them both

  • I agreewith that, Imean some horror relies on gore, some others rely on creepiness, but Thai movies have both, (ghost+gore) which just kills so badly

  • where can i watch this in full movie with eng subs?thanks!

  • I wanna watch this, looks like a mix of the grudge and the ring XD

  • Nice combination! Lol. Seriously, The Grudge+The Ring = hardcore awesome

  • I've been looking for this trailer for an hour. XD

Man, I really wanna see this movie. T_T

  • Same here.

  • another great one

  • yep

  • WOOOOOW

    <3<3<3<33<3<3<3

  • Tres homicidios en serie. La única pista en común entre los casos es que las pantallas de los ordenadores de las víctimas mostraban la página web personal de una misma muchacha.

  • ive been watching horror trhilers 2 hours straight lol, im gonna have nightmares lol

  • yea, that's what im doing now too xD lol

these movies are just awesome, and i never get bored of them

  • I also can't stop xD

  • lol :D yestersay i watched two thai horrorfilms. the first was the Dorm, it wasnt scary but it was awesome. the next was 4bia, and i had nightmares about evil princesses :S but today i gonna watch a film too xDD

  • I saw 4Bia too, I loved the fist and the last story. THE LAST FLYING was great, the princess was really mean.

  • just looks like teh grudge

  • goooosh!!! lee dong wook is so handsome!!!! woooahhhh!!!!

  • whats the story all about? oh and its lee dong wook. :)) he's so hot.

  • It's based on the Korean legend "Arang," as far as I can gather and sum it up without really ruining the movie.

  • then what's Arang? is it a ghost? sorry. i'm not a korean :D

  • Arang was the name of the girl who was the victim of an attempted rape; she fought back against the man and he stabbed her to death. Sorry for the ridiculously late reply. x_x

  • is it me or that scary creepy girl/monster/ghost person kinda looks like the grudge in a way,,,

  • i want to see this =]

  • Wha I want to see thgis one <3

  • lools creppy

  • subtitles maybe??????????

  • aw =[ how poor=[ kids dieing and try to some ugly girl amd bloood eye and everywher! =[

  • I saw the movie. Its not bad.

But its not one of the best.

  • seems to be awesome

  • This actually looks pretty neat... I liked it when the ghost girl (I'm assuming) is laughing.

  • similar to the Grudge and the Ring

  • lol they all are.. i've watched lots of asian horrors and they seem to like the Grudge-esque, creepy twitchy asian girls. they always make me crap myself :P

  • i realized that

  • another "the grudge" story

  • i reall kinda is. agreed

  • does this have anything to do with the ring? i know it's south korean, but i'm just curious.

  • this is nuthin like the ring... y does everyone think that most korean movies hav to do wit the ring??!!!!!

  • ur right i tell my friends i want to see apt and they say but we all saw the ring already ind i just slap my fore head lol!

  • at least i can the difference between japanese and korean.

  • i can 'tell' the difference...

oops. damn. i need to proofread more.

  • i miss took it for japanese too till i read your comment lol sounds japanese but a bit more subtle....never noticed before.....

  • creepy o.O

  • imagine a movie with all these ghosts together against each other? let the best killer win!!

  • Could anyone please tell what is the plot of this story?

    I'm really interested in it!

    Thanks!

  • I like asian horror movies, but I don´t know why in The eye 10 (3) and The Hunted scholl were added some effects which make the movie seem stupid to me, It´s a pity because the stories were really good but the special effects sucks. However, most of them are good.

  • Americans are good at monster type horror movies but suck with ghost horror movies.

Asians are good at ghost horror movies but suck with monster horror movies.

Trust me, Asians are awful when it comes to monster type horror films and I know this because I'm Korean and I've seen some Korean monster type movies.... their awful lol

Americans still make the best monster movies.

Only Asians make the BEST ghost movies ever.

  • some korean you are.... hey im korean.... koreans are pretty good wit monster type movies they dont totally suck... americans are just all the same points.... thats why koreans hav better books and movies... and besides... (it shows in scientific research that koreans are naturally more genius than americans dont be offended americans.... well you know wat i mean...)

  • lol dude have u seen that korean monster movie, The Host? that was totaly lame. I only like korean/asian ghost horror movies. Monster movies, they just suck, not enough backbone to it. Asians make the best ghost movies ever tho.

  • ok the host is an exception.... but yes asians make the best ghost

  • ithink that

The Japs makes scarier horror movies than the Americans

  • thats true xD

american horror sucks big time, except for maybe the exorsist!

  • I feel you on that one, leslawrenson. Same for you, likezdahotbeatz. Hmmmmm. I say yes, it's definitely boring, and very contrived. Right on with making progress. Peace out world.

  • Everyone makes scarier horror movies than the Americans now. Who wants to watch yet another dumb ass film about a load of dumb ass college kids going to a place where (yawn) their mobile phones don't work, and where they can split up in order to make it easier for the predictable psychopath to pick them off one by one. Jesus! It's all so freaking dull and boring. The Japs, Koreans, Spanish and Brits are all way ahead of the Americans now for making cutting edge horror.

  • I totally agree 100% Or you rent a movie and the scary monster on the cover of the movie isn't even in the movie at all.. ???

  • I agree with you totally on that. I love Asian horror films, but in a way they're all very similiar, like for example there is always a scary little girl with long black hair usually just standing there to scare the crap out of you, it does get a bit predictable.

  • So true! All they do is steal the ideas from Asians. It's like they can't come up with anything good by themselves. I'm already sick of all the gore "horror". You can't even call it horror. Cutting in half, lots of blood and guts. Lame, old and very known. Why won't they come up with something else other than zombie movies?

They're good at Sci-fi movies and action tho.

  • yeah and comedies, like dance of the dead and not another teen movie!

  • agree!!! asian horrors is the best i think but the british horror i dont find that scary but its much better then the americans the american horror is all the same nd we have seen it befor witch makes it all booring.. and one thing i hate is that they steal horrors from asia and makes there own version..

  • Horror from Americans these days are just Asian remakes or sequels to past crappy horror *cough*Saw*cough*. Older American horrors were good like Stephen King adaptions, The Others, The Thing, Aliens, Hitchcock, etc., so I won't say that American movies are bad, but in present day yeah they suck. I haven't been to the theaters because nothing good is out! Koreans and Thai make the best movies. Some Japanese horror is okay, but yeah I'm tired of the hair thing too.

  • Yea, and American horror movies are all gore! Blegh! I like suspense thank you! Except Ghost Ship, that was a GREAT horror movie in my opinion!

  • you have a point but i think asians and americans pull off horror movies better than any other country so i like both

  • at 41

    ugh get a tan

  • I haven't checked it out yet and man, chinese and japanese make some seriously freaked out movies man. Scarier than ours!! Sugoi!

  • quiero verla

  • havent seen this yet. it looks good

  • 1:14 FINALLY someone has the balls to fight a ghost! unlike in most horror films

  • this movie was awesome it was creepy in the begining but sad near the ending of the movie one of the greatest korean horror films ive seen.By the way if you seen this movie, does anyone know a site where i can downlaod that creepy piano theme (the one where the guys gets an email saying they've been invited to a salt village and then a creepy theme plays) yeah that.........does anyone know where i can downlaod it as a ringtone ?

  • Have you seen one last phone call (the Japanese one I mean)? OMG! or Aka Aka Ateri man those are some seriously freaked out movies man!

This one isn't Aarang, this is Joun(Grudge)! Totally the same man!!

  • no! this is definitely not juon...

it says there, arang, the korean characters? lol

i've watched juon 1-3, the grudge 1-2 , this movie is not scary compared to juon n the grudge. the grudge is wayyyyy scarier!!!!!!

japanese people is very good at making ghost storiess.... lol

    love japanese. =D

  • No kidding. Japanese make better scary movies than we do. Thats for sure.

  • Asian horror movies:

More "yurei" than you body has room for!!!

  • yeah and Im sick of American horror films repeating themselves whith blood and gore

and realy no plot what so ever.

  • Seriously, I think we are getting bored. We need to come up with better horror Ideas. I do agree. We Americans don't make good horrors like we use to. Remember Freddy K, and Jason and what about chucky and Mike! Those are seriously the best freaked out American movies ever. Those and Saw.

  • I think it has to do allot with the asian culture, history and such. Asians (Movies created in asian countries for the most part) not only make great horror movies but also great horror games. The resident Evil series comes from asia along with silent hill, fatal frame and a bunch of other great games. I think the problem with most american directors and films in general is that the studios don't let them do original stuff, its only stuff that is sure to sell. You cant make horror films that way
