  • your sun glass is just like the car, trash.

  • DUDE TO DADDA lol

  • The New 2010 CX7 with the 2.3L DISI Engine 244HP...does it really need premium gas or can use regular gas?? whats the difference?? using regular gas can harm the engine?? this question is for the new model CX7 2010s GT....please reply thanks....

  • @DjLouisFerdinand Same rule applies - use 91 octane fuel. Anything less and the EMS retards the timing to reduce reduce knocking and predetonation. Performance decreases along with fuel economy. Spend the few extra dollars on using the right gasoline from a tier one gas company such as Chevron, Shell, Texaco, or Union 76. Trying to save a few dollars on gas will only come back and bite you in the wallet if you plan on keeping the crossover long-term.

  • @DjLouisFerdinand actually they reprogrammed it to use regular.

  • @DjLouisFerdinand

regular unleaded can damage your engine at worst and ruin youre perfomance at best. its not a sugestion, its a requirment

  • Cons--my AC broke down on my 08 cx 7...it sux!!! now its gonna be like $1000 to fix it! ughhhhh

  • I've been driving a 2008 cx-7 for about a year and a half now. I've been using regular gas to fill up my tank instead of the premium. I've read on other forums that the later models of the cx-7 are able to run fine on regular gasoline. Is using regular gasoline harming my engine in any way? If so, should I go in to get it checked?

  • @lilbean212 - the engine management system will automatically retard the ignition time to reduce knocking and pinging that may harm your engine. Spend an extra couple of dollars and use a good premium gasoline (Chevron, Shell, Texaco, Union 76). Performance and fuel economy will improve by using the recommended octane fuel.

  • Exelente carro

  • "A big MAZDA logo so you wouldn't forget what brand of car it is"

I LoLed with this statement......BTW, I love crossovers, especially the murano and this one, the cx-7

  • @shredingman123 I'm thinking of buying a used 2008 in black, I love the look, do you know if it really NEEDS premium gas?

  • I have the new CX 7 and the car looks sexy...the feel is so smooth and the car is great... however in the car when you are going the nosie is too loud.. for a silent drive i prefer hyundai

  • Um i dont know i wish my mom would have given me a 23,000 Dollar car for my 16th birth day. Get a freaking job and get out in the real world. And just be happy you have a good car.

  • @cbr600rx7 why be happy without it?It is an amazing and an affordable SUV.

  • YOUR AN IDIOT. I had a mustang, and I now own a CX-7. The Mustang was a piece of shit with no function to it, if you get laid (which i doubt you do based on your whiney attitude) you would be better off with the CX-7.

  • haha MASSIVE chrome logos so you dont forget what kind of car it is...lmfao

  • most vehicles have the SAME THING on them as well. there's no difference.

  • I agree with you on looks, most crossovers look similar to the undiscriminating eye. DRIVE IT, it is a totally different feel, 244 HP on the turbo engine.

  • wow...i like the rear folding seats, me and my babe can get it on anytime.

  • Zoom-zoom experience

  • LMFAO, what a cheap attempt.

  • on a 307 mile trip We got 24MPG with the cruise set at 70MPH. Including climbing over the Tehachipi mountains on Hiway 58.We use 89 for the commute drive. 91 octane for trips and the summertime.

  • my dad has 1 its too sikk

  • I bought a CX-7 and it rocks. The mileage is terrible (15mpg) and it eats tires every 15,000 miles but it's still the best motor vehicle I've owned, and I've owned plenty. It's 0-60 acceleration is on par with my 91 Porsche and it seems to be virtually un-crashable with it's stability control program. The handling is truly astonishing. I feel good too when my wife is driving it with the children on board and the weather and traffic is bad. It just feels so safe and sure footed. Yep, buy one.

  • Yea your right thats why we got rid of ours but we still got another Mazda

  • Great car but what's with the sideburns on the guy doing the review? What year is this? No wonder he likes the oldtime 3 spoke steering wheel.

  • DO to Dada

  • Acura's have an overall better quality of car, so therefore it wins hands down.

  • Sorry faggot. CX9 is superior to Acura. OK faggot?

  • Lolol, to the rdx sure.. The MDX still > the cx-9 thx.

  • wait

    it's a mazda

does it really need premium gas?

  • Mazda recommends 91 octane since it is a high-output turbocharged 4-cylinder. You might be able to get away with mid-grade gasoline if the ECU detects the lower octane and retards the engine timing

  • my mom has a 07 cx7 and my uncle has a passat that took premium and he said he put in midgrade abd it never has had an issue and so my mom started doing it and she has had no issues ive been in it sence and it still drives the same

  • from a mechanic. one day your cars will have a problem becuase of the cheap gas used..

  • 2008s don't need premium gas. 2007s do, that's one of the changes they made for the new model year.

  • they changed it for 08 u can put the cheap stuff in it now

  • why is that? It is still turbo correct?

  • it is i think they remapped the ecu for a better compression ratio.

  • in 2010 they are now standard with a 2.5 liter, you can upgrade to a 2.3 liter Turbo charged engine. From 2007-2009, they only came in 2.3liter turbo.

  • We got 18.5 mpg during our week testing the CX-7. Your mileage is mostly to improve if your feet our lighter than ours. Although, it's pretty tough to resist spooling up the turbo and zipping through traffic.

  • I never had a minicooper :( Corse, I never had a sports car either...

  • lol the reviewer is gay

  • i love how he complained about visibility, while wearing like 5% sunglasses

  • The RDX kick ass. I was really tempted to trade-in my RSX for the RDX since I was looking for something to carry my bikes and gear. No video, but we do have a full written review of the RDX on our site carreview-dot-com.

  • aren't the RDX a heck of more dollar to have? if it isn't better, that will be a shame right? but in Japanese, testing both cars gives similar result and even the test-drivers say they cannot have a clear cut result, much like compare A4 to 3-series.

  • All I know is that my 2007 CX7 is the funnest car I've driven in quite a time. And I test drove the Honda's, Mitsubs, toyota's, VW & infinity, and overall it's the sports car feel I fell in love with. My other car is a Corvette and I guess I was looking for a sporty kind of SUV. It fit the bill for sure!!

  • Comparing the previous generation CR-V to the CX-7, I really enjoy driving the CX-7 much better over the CR-V. The CX-7 handling is much more responsive, has a lot less lean in the turns, gets up and goes better with the turbo, and has the same functionality of the CR-V. Sadly, fuel economy isn't very good because of the turbo. The price for having an extra injection of fun I suppose.

  • Get off the crack rock you moron, the CR-V is the ugliest POS selling in the masses next to the Camry.

They look nothing alike, are you mentally retarded or just looking at videos without your glasses?

The CX-7 is miles ahead of the CR-V in nearly every department besides MPG, the AWD is better, the handing and engine power are WAY better, not to mention it doesn't look like a clump of shit.
