  • this worked really good

  • it dint work

  • @apaar1000 What's the error?

  • Yoshielectron, has anyone told you that you are a genius?

  • @yoshielectron How do you open ZIP files? Because I can't.

  • @HardcoreMachinimas What operating system are you using?

  • @yoshielectron Vista.

like ''goomba goes small goomba goes big'' and so on

  • @PaperChili0906 Well done on finding the easter egg

  • Wow! Nice background!

  • Can you please give us a hint on the Easter egg?

  • @Jayt55j It's to do with where the help info is displayed where it says And try to find the hidden Easter egg!

  • OK, I have framework downloaded, and I have this, but it doesn't work! It's a Windows Media Player File. So I can't do anything with it but open it, move it, and rename it! Help!

  • @LeeLaz2008 The file you download from my site is a zip file which needs extracting. If you open it up using Run or Windows explorer it should give you the option to extract the files.

  • When I open it, it says and error accured while downloading. And so I have to close media player! (Because it's a file for Windows Media Player.)

  • @LeeLaz2008 It's a zip file not video file.

  • I have not yet found a way to do that.

  • I don't think that's possible, the shirt and hat colors are the same, and just to save Space they did it with the same values..

Tell me if I'm wrong because I have no idea.. I'm not an expert here, but maybe it's possible.

  • I need to look into it more but as a code it would be difficult as you would need to insert new values.

  • So it COULD be possible by inserting Values? Seems very hard, to import data which originally doesn't exist. Would you think it would be easier to move some Values to other unused areas? I really have no idea since I have no idea where I'm talking about... =/

  • I think I didn't explain that well. If it was possible it wouldn mean moving data to insert the colour values but it may be possible by getting the game to look somewhere else.

  • I made Gold mario

  • When you set the normal color, and in the game it looks lighter that's not the emulators problem, because the game uses a marble effect system. I actually found out a better way to create color codes without brightness changing.

Look at the Super Mario 64 Hacks and Codes section at my site for more.

  • I plan to do a version where you can select all four colours for each part.

  • wow you are smart

  • Bloody brilliant.

    *downloaded*

  • Thank you so much!! I can now make codes that are the right color! And black too!

  • Thanks for fixing it, man!

  • Why do the colors look darker in the program than in the game?

  • I've set both light and dark colours to the same to make it easier for people to select the colours.

  • Because the game is brighter, and has shadows making it have light spots to witch is on Mario

  • Yes, i tried both. (thts the thing at the top aint it?)

  • Yes. You tried one after the other, not at same time? Try using any other colour code and see if that works and then me know. Also, try other types of codes and see if they work.

  • hmmm. I did that and it was like that code was not there but the other colour code (Sonic) Stil worked which i got of youtube??

  • Can you message me the colour code so I can try it myself? Thanks.

  • Yeh i copied and paste cheat, turn cheat on (Project 64 btw) and its just normal mario...

  • Did you select the right region (PAL/NTSC)?

  • can u plz help me wit a hack im gonna make but i need ur help its gonna be a mario size code generator and i need ur help cause im not good and i dont know how to make hacks. please reply yoshielectron! ill anounce you as a helper yo my hack. plz reply!

  • Which type of Mario size modifier will you be using?

  • i dont really know what that is cause im not good with hacks and i never made and dont know how to make one, thats why i need your help. pm me on what i will be needing buddy =)

  • Thanks, yoshielectron! Now I can make alot (And I Mean ALOT!) of color codes! :D Looks like i didn't subscribe you. [I forgot] Now I'm going to subscribe!

  • well now when people make waluigi codes with this, they will actually be purple :d

  • 1:57 lol

  • Wow! If I ever need this, I know where it is. ^^

  • 1:57 lol

  • Looks great. Keep up the great work.

  • hehe, Colour... hey, Firefox, picking that up as a misspelling isn't very nice, after all, americans and Europeans do spell many words differently. >:C

    *adds to dictionary*

  • No worse than Google Chrome marking Google as spelt wrong (which of course it is but it's ironic).

  • Looks like it's come a ways from the one I have. Great work.

  • oh never mind it was in the link =)

  • Haha. People should read descriptions more lol. I think the main problem is the fact that not all of the description is available, and people probably forget that there's a "more info" thing =)

  • hey where can i download it?

  • Great! :D

  • Make a tutorial, tu create software like tghis. PLEASE :D

  • I did do one video, an introduction to programming C++.

  • This program was really good when I tested it, and now I can use the codes on my N64 with my Equalizer.

  • Thanks! The color looks a LOT more clearer!

  • While I had a fun time making color codes from scratch and stuff by using the HTML coding thing, this is going to make it so much easier for me to make color codes... thanks a lot!

  • do you do hacks for other games like ocarina of time

  • Yes I have.

  • could you post some

  • Post what?

  • Can you add a preview feature?

  • I did wonder about that but then would need way to display the Mario model.

  • An easier trick. Get a PNG of the model, then have a nice script to interchange the colors.

  • A 3D model would be better especially for showing the light/dark colours.

  • I said easier. Not more effective. :D

  • Yay. Now I can stop doing it manually!

  • In the next version of this program, will there be a function to set shadowed colours of Mario?

  • Yes, I could allow setting of both colours.

  • Yay!

i asked you to make a

Program that makes better colour codes,

And you did it! yay! but i didnt tested it yet..

    but it looks awesome!

And your facicall hear is awesome.

  • hmm i done all the insturctions right, i start a new save, Theres mario and his normal clothes. Can u tell me how to fix this problem?

  • You copied and pasted the code and added the cheat?

  • Is it possible to make a program that can patch codes to ROMs?

  • It would be possible with some types of codes.

  • Would it be possible with the newer timer code?

  • Timer code V1.1 uses a button activator so it wouldn't be so easier to do.

  • darn. If you remember, about probably 3 months ago, I wondered if you knew how to make codes for Virtual Console so I could do single star speedruns. I still haven't found a code :|

So I was thinking maybe it would be possible to patch to a ROM, and then inject it into a .wad (VC game file), then install with homebrew.

But I guess not. Thanks anyway =)

  • Hey though I should mention. If you are installing wads, you would most likely already have the homebrew channel. If you use a few homebrew things, such as Gecko OS, you can use cheat codes on Wii games. Even virtual console games.

  • I know, but there are no codes for a timer yet. And I don't know how to make codes for Virtual Console.

    @F4KFTW

  • I wish I had a Wii and then I could have a go.

  • Yoshi Have you ever Played Paper Mario N64?

I recomend Trying to hack that I havent tried but from what Ive heard its easy-ish.

    Good luck globin!

  • I don't have that game.

  • Well I recomend it , Its a great game to play and Is fun to hack.

You should Get it from Ebay Or something

  • I'm getting presents at the moment.

  • I got an idea...

What about a coin colour code generator

  • I did wonder about putting that with this program.

  • levels, specifically the area where you start at in (outside of peach's castle)

  • I could do a program to allow you to alter certain parts of the objects such as how they look.

  • do a texture generator

  • omg! Thats so cool!

  • have you considered making writing a program to change other parts of the game?

  • Yes. Was there anything in particular?

  • FANTASTIC James!!!

  • Cool!
