a dodge viper or vette has much more characteristic about it. plus veyron is a slow car for performance they are heavy and ugly. who cares if it has 4 turbos. In reality these cars are impractical. For the people who would own these cars or could actually afford these cars would be the people who would not use it for its performance. No doubt they can and do perform well. They perform that slight bit better then a vette or viper. A modified jap car which is 1/4 the price would blow its doors off
@nitrousninja1, that is exactly what a person who didn't go to college and drives a $200 dollar piece of crap car would say. P.S. I have a black 997 GT2 and i'm proud of it. Shut up if all you're going to do is talk badly about people that have the money and can buy a car better than yours. Get a life!
@gmillergt3 Your proud of a car that you walked in and bought? Thats not anything to be proud of. I'm using my "didnt go to college smart's" to build my Valiant VF coupe (dodge dart in america), I have stripped it to a bare shell. learn't about the gearbox with some help from a friend. Ive cut rust worked hard and sweated on this car. in 4 or so years, I'll have a car I can be proud of. something I (me, not some german company) has built. So please tell me what part of your porsche your proud of
@gmillergt3 plus in a straight line, My valiant will blow the doors off this "porsche", and will have only cost max $15,000. So to build a car I will make money on if i were to ever sell it. And to beat a kabillion dollar porsche. I think I would feel pretty proud that my hands and knowledge blew away that million dollar engineered super car fourth fastest car on nurburgring crap.
@christoraider Im building a valiant VF coupe, I also own a VC valiant which will be my daily driver soon. But I do agree with your statement "might be over priced but hardly under performed. because they do perform well, its a smidgen faster then a stock vette or stock viper so yeah over priced yes, underperformed no.
@nitrousninja1 but your paying for the handling and ride as well ,not just performance, i have never driven porsche, but i imagine it would be better to drive than viper or vette.
@droctagon3k not really, its only 4 seconds faster then the viper on race track. spend 5 grand on a blower for the viper (which is probably still under the porsches high price by alot i would imagine). And you would have a far superior car. Sports cars handle rough and have a tight rigid suspension build, which allows them to handle well. When will people realise that exotics are just for an image? theres no benefits spending lots of money on these cars, unless you want that white collar look
@nitrousninja1 you get what you pay for, you cannot tell me a vette is made as well as a porshe, you would be ignorant or lying to say that. The question is personal as to whether someone is prepared to pay the difference, granted some of the price of porsche, lambo, ferrari is the name / image that goes with. That name and image though don't just appear from nowhere they had to be earned at some stage along the way. 5 secs on a race track is enormous difference.
@droctagon3k so is $100,000 to $250,000+. I live in australia and went to the phillip island improved production and witnessed $500 (although they would have had $50,000 spent on them) cars that have been modified that were keeping up with lambos and porsches. Although if its a porsche your obsessed with and love the look, i could understand its that passion that would make you buy one. and for something straight from the shop that is fast stock. yeah sure its worth buying if you can afford.
for all that poofter look you have been wanting. to show you have lots of money and nearly know nothing about cars, you should buy one of these. over priced under performed piece of crap
Yeah it only beats the 430 Scuderia, Gallardo Superleggera and the Veyron on the Nurburgring - to name a few. Oh and the GT2 RS is only forth fastest production car to ever lap the circuit.
this sound is sexy .. are yo agree with me ?

the turbo equiped models of Porsche have very dispointing engine sound

i love this car but i don't particularly like the sound of it i like the sound of the lamborgini and the 458 italia better than the porsche !!!

it sounds like my mums honda accord when it starts....

@MeowChicken123
It's because of the bad mic on the camera. They have a nice full sound in real life. Also I've never heard an accord that sounds like that tbh.
