I am no fan of JB, but I don't know that it is fair to characterize someone as lazy because they are disengaged after 5 or 6pm. There is nothing suggested here about how he works during the hours that he does engage at his job. I think the bigger issue is how these Senators (both dem and GOP) are allowed to serve into their 70s, 80s and 90s, when I am sure that they are not nearly as effective. A mandatory retirement age for Senators is needed. BTW, JB is in his 60s.

I am no fan of JB, but I don't know that it is fair to characterize someone as lazy because they are disengaged after 5 or 6pm. There is nothing suggested here about how he works during the hours that he does engage at his job. I think the bigger issue is how these Senators (both dem and GOP) are allowed to serve into their 70s, 80s and 90s, when I am sure that they are not nearly as effective. A mandatory retirement age for Senators is needed. BTW, JB is in his 60s.

How is being disconnected from your job at 5 or 6 PM a qualifying factor for being lazy? Last I checked, 40 hour work weeks are normal. My opinion, if you are stuck in a job working more hours than that, then you are being used. Working longer does not mean working harder. Besides, what if the guy starts at 7 am?
