Hey Dave, another Fat Ass Dave here. I have had the P90X videos for almost two years now and this will be my first round. I am 6' 2", 280 lbs, & 28% bodyfat. I am excited to see where P90X will take me. Thanks for the YouTube videos, they have gotten me off the couch and ready to "BRING IT". - Dave Meek
I had the same problem with chair dips. They tweaked my wrists too much because the chair seat did not seem wide enough.
I was able to overcome the same feeling you describe in your video by placing a straight bar on the seat of the chair.
I grab the ends of the bar that extends past the seat and am able to perform chair dips with no problem. You may want to wrap the bar with some cushion to make it a little more comfortable for your hands.
Thanks for the bar tip... but for now I think I'm going to stick with my box spring method. Be careful with that bar! On my chair, it'd probably slip off! ;)
wow a 60 foot section of retaining wall stones. thats nuts. pretty good workout there as it is. Water weight sucks when it comes to the scale. I dont look at the scale. its how i feel and how i look is what matters. Fantastic about your numbers going up. I think the chocolate milk gives you good energy and also is good on the gut. I think it settles the gut after a workout. anyways keep up the great work! STAY ON IT!! oh and by the way. coconut oil is great for boosting the metabolism. cont
Thanks! Yeah, I don't look at the scale TOO much.. I really judge my progress by how my jeans fit and how I look in the mirror. I'll have to check on that coconut oil. I'll take all the help I can get! ;)
Your videos are so cool and neat to watch. I can't do a lot of things that the P90X "needs" to do a full workout de to some physical limitations of my own, but you help empower me to do what I can, and I want to thank you for getting me "fired up."
That leads me to the hand clcapping thing you asked in your last video. *I* see your hand claps as kind of a "rallying" type of thing like a coach trying to fire up a team. May make me a dork, but it works for me. Great video! Five stars.
Hey Jay... Go back and watch them all and find it! ;) just kidding! Instead of paying a LOT of money for a post workout recovery drink, you can have a big glass of Low fat Chocolate milk. I'll send you the link.
do you think if i do this 3 times a day i can lose weight in two weeks
