Chanderpaul has been ranked since 07 notice nowhere in there have i mentioned that he Lara was still playing and was not ranked, Lara was ranked when he was playing but not consistently in the top 10 as far as time period. Now that that's cleared up; Chanderpaul (41.60)has a higher ODI average than Lara(40.48) also back to your statement above that Lara was a tough batsmen mentioned by the some great bowlers

might i remind you that those same bowlers also mentioned that they hated bowling to Chanderpaul as he is one of the most irritating parents to bowl too as he never gets out.
