this is my favorite fps shooter of all time. i have 63 ROAD KILLS with the uav chopper its so fucking awesome how the game engine works in this game. FUCK call of duty battlefield is where its at.

i am getting frickin tired of that stupid atacama desert and the attack helo spawn raping........... those choppers need nerfing or give us a stinger or something because those AA guns are useless

Yeah it can get a bit frustrating, but tha AA guns are far from useless agains the choppers, and Tracer Dart + Carl Gustaf is as good as your Stinger =)

@hundredsofthem well idk how those aa guns help. u get spawn raped before u even get 2 feet and once u get in it it pops up as a huge ass red square and they blow u up. it is virtually impossible to tag them with a tracer. i do agree that after u trace them they are done

Well, if you do manage to get inside the AA, even one burst can destroy the chopper by tilting it so that the pilot can't do anything when the chopper crashes down. Also, at least on the PC in the newest patch they made the Tracer dart travel like 10 times faster than before so now tracing choppers is a piece of cake =D

@hundredsofthem yeah the tracers on ps3 are still very slow. i have tried everything with those AA guns including shooting the cockpit and it didnt do barely anything. i figured it would kill the pilot at least

Yeah, too bad =S but I think they're about to release a patch on the consoles that speeds up the tracer dart. I also think it's weird how AA guns and .50 cal turrets can't kill the pilot of a chopper, but any sniper rifle can.

@hundredsofthem well i finally killed a chopper pilot with a sniper rifle......... but it was a black hawk. kinda funny tho. i sniped the first guy in midair so the 2nd guy jumped in and i called a mortar strike on the helo(while in the air) then i sniped the 2nd pilot. 3rd got in and my mortar strike blew the helo up in the air. i just need to practice with my sniper rifle and then maybe i can get the pilots of the attack helos

Its really hard for me to record games like BF2 on Fraps becuz im frame rate goes down a lot for some reason. From 45FPS to like 30-25FPS which is a big difference. I sometimes see stuff kind of slow and end up getting killed which is why its hard for me to make Montages and shit.

Yeah I hear ya =/ I had that problem when I tried to record in DirectX10, but when I switched to 9 my FPS improved hugely and I was able to record well.
