Great inverter. Just bought one of these, in part based on this review. I was originally considering the Honda but I think the Yamaha has the slight edge based on overall weight and dB. I can't believe how light it is! If you want to run more stuff than is shown here (e.g. a/c), go for a 2000. But I was looking for maximum portability to take in my '78 VW Westalia. This little powerhouse is perfect for my uses.
