The bullet itself is not the same as what's behind it. My AR-15 is a .22LR, but with a longer bullet and about 20 more grains behind it. I said .22LR, not .22 Calibre.
I looked on their website and they didn't really have a front-end assembly for it it seems, so I emailed customer service and am waiting for a reply. I know it comes with a faux suppressor, but who the hell wants that? So I just went ahead and asked if the barrel thread only matched the fake suppressor, or if it had a 1/2-28 tpi thread to match up with most available .22 suppressors, cuz i know when i get mine one way or another there's a gotdamn liberty kodiak that's goin right on the end!
you tosser, a .177 pellet fired from a co2 powered handgun will not bounce off a skull or a chest and thats has hardly any stopping power.....a .22lr has much more and will kill??
that is correct, not by statistics but by common sense =] i have a AAI PK22 a small 1911 look-a-like in .22lr...a very rare pistol now a day...ive been looking for a spare magazine and parts for a year now and still no sign of any left-overs.
dear gfreeman556 when I saw your comment on the .22LR I set up a youtube account just so I could let you know how stupid you are. Those little 36 grain bullets are very deceitful, 22 happens to be a round that will penetrate most bullet proof vests. 9mm, .40S&W,.45acp won't. You obviously haven't ever shot anything with a .22 or else you wouldn't be so full of yourself. I know for a fact that a .22 will put down larger things than a human. if you're so sure of yourself, break into my house.
Usually slimmer bullets will penetrate light body armor, the 9mm and .45 are so wide that their energy is spread out, whereas something like a .17 is so slender that it's PSI on impact is dramatically higher than any handgun. But i'm pretty sure a .22 doesn't have enough oomph to quite penetrate... a .22 is only immediately deadly if you secure a headshot, otherwise the target will just bleed for a while
I am not saying I would want to use a .22 to kill someone or that it is ideal compared to many other options. But to say its not a deadly caliber is plain bullshit. If you know anything about weapons you would know that. Hit men often use .22 SUB SONIC rounds to KILL people. Don't go giving me your 3 gun macho BS if your half a gun handler you would not even be arguing that a .22 is deadly.
you do know that the m16 shoots a .223 round which is a modified .22 bullet right? so there are 22s designed for killing. a normal 22 rimfire isnt going to be nearly as lethal but it stil has the capability of killing someone
How stupid are you? NO .22 LR will bounce off your skull or chest bone unless your maybe a mile away or more from the shooter.
Don't think .22 is a killing capable cartridge huh. I bet the people at Virginia Tech would tell you otherwise. 150 ft lbs is going through your skull unless your hard headed as you seem to be thinking a .22 is a toy.
A Specialist in my platoon has one of these that he just got. He said that at the time he ordered that Atlantic Firearms only had 500 of them available so he was lucky to get it. Looks like a really nice weapon and its balanced perfectly/very light. Hopefully I'll get to shoot it sometime.

yes, but both bullets have the same diameter ie. 5.56mm! thats my point....
hardman476 2 years ago
but rounds are carry MUCH more energy ke to a target. if i HAD to chose. i'd rather take a .22 to the leg then a .223 to the leg.
zenmindstate 2 years ago
no an ar15 is a .223. close but not the same andddd its high powered. big difference.

Just be careful and treat your firearms with respect and you'll never have to worry about how deadly your .22LR is.
This looks like a fun little plinker, think I'll use my $600 check from uncle Sam this year and get one :)
