Game of the Year has the rgular Oblivion game, just with the two expansions included. Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine.

Not really, other than it freezing four times total (on PS3 and on a file with 200+ gameplay hours, plus freezings were spread pretty equally apart), the game works fine.

i think you get shivering isles and knights of the nine, but not all the other DLC's (Battlehorn, Frostcrag, etc...)

The orginal version came only with oblivion and shivering isles.This version comes with oblivion + knights of the nine and shivering isles.

The game includes any plug-ins that were made up to the point of shivering isles' creation. So if you have the orginal oblivion and then get shivering isles or knights of the nine, then it will instantly update the latest plug-in since the creation date of that particular expansion. So yes this means if you have it for computer, and you like the duplicating, then definitly do not install knights of the nine or the shivering isles.

right...but I was talking about the consoles' versions...especially the ps3 "GotY" edition...

cuz I've heard about the other plug-ins like: horse armor or the thieves' den...

I do not think that you can get anymore plug-ins then what the shivering isles' provides. I have heard something about those armor plug-ins and stuff that they come in a ps3 format but i have also heard that if you spend points on xbox live, you can buy official plug-ins.

yeah...but sadly...there isn't any downloable content...just the Shivering Isles and The Nights of the Nine in the GotY edition

Well, then that just means that you have to go off of the plug-in data that is on the expansions. But technically, you could get a data storage device and download off the internet a plug-in that is compatible with the ps3 version. I also have a ps3 and oblivion goty for it but I think that it is possible because, come on. The ps3 can do many things. It would get added to the data that is saved in the game data.

lots of people said to me that the GotY only has these 2 expansions,nothing more(i think...)

and it is impossible to get on the ps3 version any further plug-ins

Well, the two expansions (definitly shivering isles) include a official. But for official or somehow for ps3 custom made plug-ins, I am not too sure. I do know that the expansions come with the later patches (newest to make date) though.

This game looks pretty beast. I'm hopefully getting a playstation 3 soon. Might be one of the first games I buy.
