  • The 21st Century accepts theories if they are presented in the language of science.

Yeah, because everyone will believe that pigs can fly theory if I throw in words like "hypothesis, double blind, conclusion, chemical reaction and testable".

On the whole, only people who are less intelligent accept theories based on scientific language.

This is another attempt to make science appear to be wishy washy in an effort to show that if you believe in science and it's not 100%, the bible is ok.

  • 5;40-53

"there is a battle for soul's going on."

I don't agree with that. If that were the case, then Satan is winning that battle by leaps and bounds.

  • Great analysis. Thats the reason why we need Christ because we are doomed to fail on our own.

  • There's a battle. Perhaps not for salvation per se'. I think you have a point there but what about evangelism? - the world and it pleasures are big time competition for the gospel.

The enemy is battling for your attention as well. I think the strategy with believers is to distract us from being effective.

  • "The enemy is battling for your attention as well"

Yes he is. Ephesians 2;2 calls him "the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.."

'evangelism' is supposed to counter act his 'lawless broadcast'. but most of christianity is content to just downplay it to appease the listening public. or to simply whitwash over it in an attempt as to not upset the congrigation.

    All that will change soon.

  • I agree most are "arm chair" Christians; not many have the courage to proclaim the Gospel.

I think it will change soon as well - in what sense do you mean? The economy, hard times, or perhaps the tribulation begins soon?

  • I mean in the sense that 'His Truth Is marching On" - while preaching charlitans fall by the wayside. - Call it Tribulation if you like. but when people find out ( for example) that they arent going to be raptured. there Pasters will begin to cry as they loose there congrigation, church, and bankaccounts.

  • Yeah, that is weird isnt it.

Thats what happens when people make a religion; they stop reading the Word of God.

God Saves, not man and his religion.

  • Is christianity the only religion that is true?!

  • Yes. Jesus makes that claim. So if you accept him - you'll believe his teaching. John 14:6

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

  • and i thought god (jesus) was supposed to be all-loving.

  • He is also Holy and his righteousness demands justice. He loved you enough to die for you - but if you reject it - you will face the consequence of your choice. Decide wisely.

  • Amen brother.

  • Chris, you are still batting 1000. I have seen all of your videos and every one is valuable and good. But, I especially want to thank you for this one because it contains your personal testimony. I encourage everyone to continue on to part 2, it will be fascinating and perhaps life changing.

  • I'm honored, thanks brother.

  • 5*!

  • Your message here was right on brother.

    Praise be to God.

  • Well your parents must be crap if god would give them a deaf son.

Christians remind me of a battered wife.

You say you love him and he just hurts you again and again and again.

You may love Jesus but if he exists why would he care about you?

  • Im so glad people like you will not be in heaven.

  • Seek professional help.

  • Well god is either vengeful or incompetent. Your choice.

Also punishing the children for the sins of the parents is a pretty common theme through the bible so why not in the present day?

  • He has offered you a way out of that curse but you must receive it.

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." (2 Pe 3:9)

  • "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (Jn 3:16-18)

  • i thought he was supposed to be all-loving then why doo we have to choose and then face the consequence ?

  • God hates sin.

  • really? the same god who asks you to kill unbelievers, just as Allah does ?

  • Allah is satanic. Jesus taught to love your enemies and kill no one.

  • LOL

You didnt even finish one video did you.

A fool speaks before he listens.

Watch and learn, if you are capable.

  • I doubt he even watched this one - the Spencer quote would have deterred such commenting. As much as I like the way Spencer puts it - he based it on a proverb.

"He who answers before listening— that is his folly and his shame." Pro 18:3

"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance that principle is contempt prior to investigation."

    -Herbert Spencer

  • YES !!!

    Those are both AWSOME quotes.

I love that you started this series this way.

You are right, he couldnt have even watched this one very long, and made those comments, without knowing he would look like a fool.

  • More quotes. Because quotes are proof right? Right?

What a load of nonsense. When will people learn that something is true or false because it is shown to be, not because someone important says it's so.

  • It is shown to be in video III

  • i argued with a theist because all thru the debate i had with him he could not produce one single evidence for his god.

  • Fulfilled prophecy is evidence that the inspirator of the Bible is from outside our time domain.

  • A month later and you still haven't given me an answer. How come?

Vengeful, uncaring, finite or non existent?

  • HOLY, loving, Infinite, and existent.

  • So he made your brother deaf from birth as a joke?

    Boredom?

    Or did he not notice?

    Or did he not care?

    Read this a few times

"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?"

  • "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" Thanks for supplying more evidence for theism.

While of course gardens do not have fairies - all gardens do have Gardeners or they wouldn't be called Gardens - they would be thickets or deserts but not Gardens.

    God bless.

  • So he made your brother deaf from birth as a joke?

He didn't make him that way but he certainly allowed it. We all face sin, pain and death. Life on earth is very brief - it is a testing ground - and you will be judged by how you respond to Jesus with what God has given you.

My brother has every reason to feel short changed, yet he believes in and worships God. His trials on earth will be quickly forgotten in eternity. How will God measure your chosen response I wonder.

  • No, you can't have it both ways Bigwhammy. Either God has a plan for everyone or he doesn't.

If your brother is deaf it is because of God's plan or it isn't which is it.

    Selective application of theism? :P

  • So what if it is God plan? Why is that a problem?

  • It's a problem because if you accept bad things happening to people as part of God's plan, then you accept that God is the source of suffering for people in the world.

An odd trait for someone who "loves" us.

  • You have a false definition of love. In light of eternity suffering on earth is relatively inconsequential. And God is familiar with suffering, he came to earth and died a brutal death in your place. You really can not get more loving than that.

  • You contradict yourself in your own sentence.

If the suffering on earth is inconsequential, then Jesus' death on the cross is inconsequential. If that's the case, it's not a real demonstration of God's love.

    Whoops?

  • Not quite as Jesus is the only sinless man to ever live... and your just ignoring whole thing about him being God in the flesh. It's His innocence and who he is that's makes his suffering significant. Christians are told to expect suffering - Christianity is not a religion its a process of being transformed into his image and character - suffering is part of the package.

  • How does that prove that Jesus' suffering wasn't inconsequential? They're not even attached logically.

I'd argue that Jesus' suffering was less then a mortal mans because he KNEW he was going to heaven and that he was God.

If he truly wished to suffer as humans do, he'd have subjected himself to all the doubt and fear that humans experience.

So, I'd ask you this. How is Jesus' suffering more then a mortals when you consider that he would have had less fear and doubt. That's suffering too.

  • Ro 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

God doesn't "love everyone" he hated esau, a typification of the majority of mankind.

  • And yet God created a universe in which Esau would have existed. Tell me, do you hate things you create?

  • some times, but this isnt about me and what i do this is about the nature of God. he hated esau, he didnt love esau, sure he showed some benevolence by providing life to esau and one could call this love.. like wise God does not have the same saving super-personal superior love for everyone as he does for his elect... only his elect experience the fullness of his love, the rest are (in the end) hated and abandoned by God..

  • I would propose that if you hate things you create you have the intellect of a child.

Do you not realize that if you create something you are in fact the one to blame?

So, you cut a star from a piece of paper and it's all crooked. Do you hate the star for being crooked? Of course not. Because you're at fault. You may not like it, but you don't hate it.

And this is about you. Because the first step to being intelligent about what you believe is the understanding that your mind is first.

  • read this really slow a few times...

"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation." -Edmund Spencer

  • read this slowly a few times...

"Quotes are only meaningful to those who do not understand that quotes are meaningless."

Really, anyone who puts faith in what someone says because of who they are is at best a fool, a slave at worst.

  • I guess you created calculus for yourself instead of listening to what some math teacher said. After all that would be slavery...

  • So you're comparing offhanded quotes based on a person's opinion to a teacher who's teaching based off proven materials? Wow. Just wow. Do you think about your examples before you post them?

The difference between being taught calculus and hearing a quote about calculus is that when you are taught, you are shown the process, shown why it's valid and how it works.

In a quote you are not. A quote is simply a one line phrase, offering no other insight or proof except for what is there.

  • No the point was you put your faith in what other people tell you all the time - everyone does. As far as quotes it depends on the quote. What quote are you objecting to specifically anyway?

  • No, I don't put faith in what people say. I make an objective conclusion about them and what I know of the world to evaluate what they say.

So, if I have a family member who I have never seen lie say "I had eggs for breakfast." I believe them. I'm not taking it upon faith, I have observed them to be trustworthy and the statement isn't at odds with the world.

The more drastic the claim, the more evidence is required. So, when I learn things, I do not accept them until I understand why.

  • 10:25 -- He "has revealed Himself to mankind through Scripture"... From where did you take this?

  • Nowhere specific, I think that is pretty much a tenet of the Christian faith. That statement is authenticated by the quality of the wisdom presented and fulfilled prophecy.

  • No, is not. Even in the Bible you will not find it. You could have it better said. God did not sent the Scripture from Heaven just miraculous like that, to reveal through it to the wolrd.

"In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son." (Heb 1:1-2)

  • ++10:25 -- He "has revealed Himself to mankind through Scripture"... From where did you take this?++

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of GOD may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3: 16,17)

    JESUS IS LORD!!

  • Like I said: You will not find in the Bible any thing saiyng that God revealed Himself through the Bible.

This verse you posted just says that Scripture are is given by inspiration by God. But never says that God inspired it to reveal Himself to the world.

Heb. 1:1-2 says all. First God spoke through the prophets, then He spoke through His Son, and as Jesus Himself promissed, He continues to speak through His Church.

GOD REVEALED HIMSELF TO THE WORLD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, NOT SCRIPTURE!

  • He reveals himself in both.

You are simply not very educated on the subject of the Word of God.

  • "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him."

    2 Samuel 22:31

  • "By the word of the Lord a man of God came from Judah to Bethel, as Jeroboam was standing by the altar to make an offering."

    1 Kings 13:1

  • "When the prophet who had brought him back from his journey heard of it, he said, 'It is the man of God who defied the word of the Lord. The Lord has given him over to the lion, which has mauled him and killed him, as the word of the Lord had warned him.'"

    1 Kings 13:26

  • "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

    Hebrews 4:12

  • First of all, don't you know that Jesus never said to His apostles to write down teachings and publish it to the world? He commanded the Apostles to teach to the world and promissed He will be with them til the end. Seconde, the verses you posted do not help you in the subjet. Third, there is One living Word of God that became Man, Jesus the Christ.

  • You are right about Jesus being the Word which became flesh.

Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings;yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord. But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.

    (2 Peter 2:10-12)

  • You have some kind of strange agenda here.

You are arguing with other Christians, and your goal seems to be to try and discredit the Bible.

    I doubt your spirit here.

  • Breshi. This is not my goal. I just wanted to point out the error the speaker said "revealed Himself through Scripture".

u'll not find it in the Bible.

  • As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit [...] one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

    (Ephesians 4:1-7)

  • Where in the Bible does it say the Pope is the final say on the word of God?

  • wow. This is becoming a forum.

Matth. 16:19 -- Jesus gives the Keys of His Kingdom to Peter.

Luke 22:32 -- Jesus commends Peter to confirm the brethren.

John 21:15-18 -- Jesus Commends Peter to feed His lambs and sheep.

Matth. 18:16-15 -- Jesus says that His Church has the final word, and says that whatsoever they shall bind or loose upon earth, shall be bound or loosed also in heaven - Peter has the keys.

  • Peter, is not the Catholic Church.

  • The Key to Heaven is Christ Crucified, not some magical Golden key shaped object in Rome somewhere.

  • Peter means "rock" his real name was Simon.

Jesus changed his name for a reason.

So that we would not confuse the man, with the message.

The Church, is the Body of Christ.

The Councelor, is the Holy Spirit.

  • Also, ironically, Peter was probably the least worthy ot be called a "rock" for he wavered many times.

This again, is so we do not confuse the man, with the message, which is that God Saves, not man and his religious practices and cults.

  • ++Jesus changed his name for a reason++

Of course, to show that He is making Peter the visible Rock of the Church, His Vicar -- the POPE.

You just can't deny the clarity of the few verses that I posted. And there is hundreds of them if you want to learn more.

    Study at scripturecatholicDOTcom

"He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth me; and he that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me." (Luke 10:16)

  • Your "of course," is a danger to you and you alone.

"These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error."

"Of them the proverbs are true: 'A dog returns to its vomit,' and, 'A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.'"

    (2 Peter 2)

  • Comment removed

  • "If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning."

You are entangled in things of this world.

There is ONE HOPE, Christ Alone; not your pope.

  • "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit -[one hope]- one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it."

    (Ephesians 4:1-7)

  • ++GOD REVEALED HIMSELF TO THE WORLD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, NOT SCRIPTURE++

How do you know anything about the LORD JESUS CHRIST?

    Exactly.... through Scripture!

    JESUS IS LORD!!

  • ++First GOD spoke through the prophets, then He spoke through His Son, and as Jesus Himself promissed, He continues to speak through His Church.++

You mean by church the corrupt Catholic Institute?

Where do you find it in the Bible that GOD speaks through a corrupt Catholic Institute.

    Answer: Nowhere!

The Bible is the written WORD of the Living GOD.........

    JESUS IS LORD!!

  • Well, don't you believe in the Bible anymore? Is right there, full of declarations and promisses of Christ.

  • ++Well, don't you believe in the Bible anymore? Is right there, full of declarations and promisses of CHRIST.++

That't because it's the WORD of GOD friend....

    JESUS IS LORD!!

  • Hmmmm it's called "Gods word". Think about it.

  • Jesus IS the God's Word.

  • ++JESUS IS the GOD's WORD++

And how do you know anything about the LORD JESUS Einstein?

    Exactly..., by reading GODS WORD...

Is the catholic bell already ringing friend?

    JESUS IS LORD!!

  • Why do you believe that the Bible is the Word of God? Because the Catholic Church said so! You cannot escape from the judgments of the Church. It was Catholic bishops who wrote the New Testamente, it was catholic bishops who compiled the books of the New Testamente and joined it to the Old Testament. You know the Lord Jesus because the Catholic Church preached the Word of God both orally and written. You believed in the Lord Jesus because someone preached to you.

  • You are a strange fellow.

The Bible does not belong to the Catholic Church, the New Testament was not written by the Catholic church, and Catholic Bishops have a long history of trying to keep the Word of God out of the hands of the common man; and the more you argue, the more you argue for the cultish nature of the Whore of Babylon that has become the Catholic Church.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" Not the Catholic Church.

  • "How then shall they call on him, in whom they have not believed? Or how shall they believe him, of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear, without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they be sent, as it is written: How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, of them that bring glad tidings of good things!"

    now start the persecution, ha.

  • No one is denying that.

  • I'm glad the LORD was able to strengthen your faith. It can be difficult sometimes, the Bible explains a lot of these issues very well. I especially like Romans and Job in regard to those kind of doubts. Really it comes down to a choice to just believe God.

    Brilliant video, strong testimony....

I'm a former atheist/evolutionist/cynic sceptic much like you Brother. The Living GOD opened my eyes for the reality of HIS existence 10 years ago. HE made me clear that HE reveales HIMSELF through HIS WORD(the Bible). Since that day my life completely changed. HALLELUJAH......

May the Living GOD bless you Brother.....

    JESUS IS LORD!!

  • Wow this is really something in HD. I thought I was watching Max Headroom for a minuet. lola

  • I vote with galadriel.

  • Thanks. BTW I've been watching a few of yours. I'm still trying to digest your rather novel take on dispensations.

  • great work...5/5

  • Thanks!

  • Great job with this! A+

    Through His Blood,

    Jim

  • Thank you brother Jim! Keep your eyes on Israel.
