its a possibility because the game is from konami which is a third party company.duh gears of war wont come on the ps3 cause its from microsoft and epic and microsoft will never make a game on the playstation.

did you noticed that his uniform does change the color to the terrain where he stands? i mean it does it automaticly, at a scene you can see that, there he does run from left to the right. first he has a white uniform, and at the dark place it changed to black. really nice feature if it will be real in the game later.
C. It's just promotional footage. A little extra scene at the end of the trailer, showcasing Snake's younger appearance with new graphics, having nothing to do with the actual game.
C's probably likely. Though if it is actually in the game, then it's probably option A. Considering, at the beginning of the scene, he was wearing Snake's suit, AND the Solid Eye, which I'm gonna assume is a unique invention for Solid Snake only, courtesy of Otacon.
A. It's just Solid Snake, and that camo mask of his doin' some seriously high tech shit.
B. It's Snake 3.0. Another clone, either of Naked again, or a Solid clone this time. Keep in mind, Solid Snake is not the original Snake. He's a clone. A copy of Naked Snake, AKA Big Boss.
believe it or not, he is 42, he got accelerated aging due to the le enfats terrible project having been in the 70s. Also Big Boss is said to have been in a coma when they took the dna copies for the project.
Finally we got some competition tho.... I think tha coolest thing in tha game is how snake can react w/ all of his environment to snake n weave around tha board w/ out being spotted, most games today u have to shoot a guy 400 times to make it from point A 2 B. SO i can appreciate stealth mode

i saw a trailer for mgs4 on the mgs3 game way before any of these videos came out and it talked about Raiden being the main character of mgs5. I hope snake doesn't die, it said he only had 6 months to live in one of the longer trailers of this game.
Id say there will be more Metal Gear Solid games you cant just not make any more games of one of the best selling series. This is just the last one to follow Snake and all the mysteries surrounding him. Id say there will be more on whoever that guy at the end was coz it seems to be a descendant of snake in some way. Or it could follow Raiden or someone completely new
well to be honest i didn't finish it because it broke but my brother played it more(he is older=control on ps3) did and said he killed himself and raiden cut off his own arms. have you finished it yet.
to tell you the truth dcollins we really don't want mgs4 cuz we got LOADS more games to look forward to then just that.(ninja gaiden 2, gears of war 2, fable 2, halo wars, too human) o ya splinter cell is actually a really good game. We've got a variety of games coming out you have one. have fun playing that for another 4 years.

I'd just like to contribute a little thing to this "young snake" thing going on in the comments.
Remember that the "Les Enfant Terribles" (Solid, Liquid and Solidus) CANNOT reproduce. So to all those who are thinking its one of the 3 Snakes real biological sons are wrong. The original Snake - Big Boss maybe...But Solid, liquid and solidus are a no.
To be honest, I think that's just Solid Snake, and for kicks they gave him a young face, either just for this video to confuse us, or as part of an "unlockable" costume - like the tuxedo when you beat the game in the original.
i would say the guy in the end might be the clone of solid snake like the sons of big boss liquid snake, solidus snake and last but best solid snake cause solid snake is no more than a clone
The guy at the end? Honestly, I would say it's Solid Snake. If you notice one of the quotes in this very footage, it says "No place in time". Wouldn't be surprised if you can either travel through time, or the game takes place at different time periods. Can't wait to find out!

K, Ninja in mgs1 was Grey Fox, snakes friend from Metal Gear (not Solid) 2, and he had no son, to my knowledge. Raiden is a soldier from MGS2, and he became the ninja in MGS4 because Olga left him the sword, and he's all "lulz, k this works."

Besides, we have no proof to suggest taht the tombstone snake salutes to in the 15 minute trailer IS The Boss (from MGS3). Could be Olga. Could be Gray Fox. Who knows?

My guess of who it is at the end. Either a genetic clone of big boss or Solid Snake in disguise. Solid Snake and change the texture of his skin and hair too. So he may have done just that. Always good remain anonymous. Another far out solution is someone kind of like decoy octopus. But you never know until you play the game.

What about if something happens in the game or mid game to start off the ageing process, so that could be snake.i dont think its evas son, Snakes father wasnt like that.

u know that makes sense. the mother would have to eva and she's in this game too. im pretty sure solid snake dies in this game, raiden too. so if the game were to continue, the main character would have to be the son of big boss.

K, Ninja in mgs1 was Grey Fox, snakes friend from Metal Gear (not Solid) 2, and he had no son, to my knowledge. Raiden is a soldier from MGS2, and he became the ninja in MGS4 because Olga left him the sword, and he's all "lulz, k this works."

Well the Snakes in MGS is really a clone of Big Boss, who you play in MGS3: Snake Eater..

No bud. That old guy IS Solid Snake. Its teh FoxDie virus rotting him away, plus the endless fighting and smoking. He's aging super fast, ergo he's gonna die super fast. The guy at the end, I have no idea.
Message me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's right, since this Old Snake knows Otacon and Dr. Naomi.
Besides, we have no proof to suggest taht the tombstone snake salutes to in the 15 minute trailer IS The Boss (from MGS3). Could be Olga. Could be Gray Fox. Who knows?

My guess of who it is at the end. Either a genetic clone of big boss or Solid Snake in disguise. Solid Snake and change the texture of his skin and hair too. So he may have done just that. Always good remain anonymous. Another far out solution is someone kind of like decoy octopus. But you never know until you play the game.

that guy at the end who gets shat on it solid snake, hideo is playing a prank on us jsut like in mgs3 with if u select "i like mgs2" ul start wiv the raiden mask, its just a mask u select in ur inventory, just like in mgs4 (yes mgs4) u can get a mask that covers everything so u can blend even ur head in that suit of his....
