I don't want to sound like some pseudo-intellectual douche but i like how they used the song Gimme some more by Busta Rhymes- a hip hop song with alfred hitchcock's psycho soundtrack as the base. it's reflective of the collection: a ready to wear collection with a perversely couture base.

Raf Simmons is one of the best minimalist designers, next to Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa!!!!!!

this was one of my favorite collections of the seasion. Maximal Minimalism. It worked... from the maxi skirts to the voluminous pants to the lampshade gowns with the parkas on top. Like Vanessa Freedman said; Raff's take on the YSL influence that is ever so prevelant forever in the labyrinth of fashion was the most modern and directional. It just worked.

i really like the purple dress! mini purple dress. that one really pretty.

most dresses remind me of that designer who said "free the corset, but chakle the legs" narrow down the hem in the ankle.

Outstanding collection. It was inspiring to see that young designers can take a modern woman forward in fashion without making her look like some sort of performance artist (not that there is anything wrong with that). At the end of the day,fashion is escape for a lot of us,and Raff certainly proved that that escape was materialized through his talent in this magnificent RTW collection.
