@dtdurr A panther is a "general" term for a melanistic (Or 'black') big cat. Usually either a Puma (Cougar or Mountain Lion), Leopard, or Jaguar. Panthera is the feline genus which contains lions, tigers, leopards and jaguars, not an actual species or subspecies of big cat :3

So even though the video is obviously a jungle cat, like a Jaguar, the audio could very well be a melanistic Mountain Lion sound :3
