  • What type of lens did you use for the inside of the viewfinder?

  • The magnet trick doesnt work on sony A1?

  • TERRIBLE!!

  • I bought an LCD hood for my camera, put some velcro on the back of a small mirror and put that on the inside of the bottom panel of the hood. Not 100%, but sure makes panning a whole lot easier!

  • Great. but can you use a tripod or it's just for run'n'sooting?

  • a how to would be great

  • Hello. I am a Japanese. This is splendid. I am interested in a view finder. Would you teach me the how to make if all right?

(If there is a Web page introducing, please teach it)

    Thanking you in advance.

  • Nice joke, Duffer

  • Dude, this is cool. I really like your idea of the optical viewfinder image flipper. First time I've seen this. Seems a lot more practical than other solutions I've seen.

  • Wow, that is cool. How did you build the image flipper? Is it just a lens and a tube? Perhaps...could you post a 'how to' vid??

  • how to vid please! or maybe a website to buy one?

  • Haha, that looks awesome.

  • wat mic is that? xlr adapter?

  • its the rode mic

  • Is that really patent pending, or are you just saying that?

  • whats better hv20 or hc1??

  • hv20 forever!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amen!

  • this isn't in production yet, is it?

  • Did you make the optical viewfinder? Or did you purchase it somewhere? I would love to have some more info on this setup, I really love the DOF adapter and would pay to have one made or the plans to make one.

  • Why wouldn't you just shoot your video right side up and then just invert the image in post production? I can't think of an instance where you'd really need to shoot upside down?

  • I do hold both right side up or upside down. But I liked the A1J's XLR microphone has stabilizer-like effect that keeps horizontal pisition by its weight.

  • is the 35 mm adapter valid for all video cameras?for example, my camera is a SONY HDR-HC1E.

    thanks

  • i want to know where can i obtain a 35 mm adapter for my video camera.

  • is that a SONY HDR-HC1E camera?

  • It's HVR-A1J, a professional model of HC1 for Japanese market. There's A1U for North America, A1E for Europ and PAL countries.
