Nice videos! I see you put alot of effort into your videos. I have a question however. Is GTX480 the same as NVIDIA GeForce GT 480m. And do you know if graphic memory helps like how is 2 gb graphic memory better and worth the money more than 1gb for example.

I currently have an i7 950 rig running Windows 7, with 12 GB DDR3, but a single, lowly ATI Radeon 5700...My frame rates are TERRIBLE. I'm investigating performance of similar high-end rigs before I decide. Contrary to what another commenter has said, I've heard FSX runs FAR better when NOT using the ATI cards. My current choice is between 2X-SLI with GTX460s or one single GTX480.

What frame rates do you get if everything is set at max, with a complex city landing (e.g. KJFK) ?

@dnhug For the first question, I've heard Flight Simulator is a ATI/AMD based game or simulator. What ever floats your boat. :D

For the second, Yes, crossfire 6870's are like having 5970 and $100 dollars cheaper in the U.S.!

@iwantpk2 well coach, the SSD is a great idea, i have a 120gb ssd, and it feeds much faster then a ordinary 7200rpm HD.

And, damn, my rig was around 3.5 times more expensive. Damn swiss high priced bastards :)

@DarkForce230 indeed :) a slight too high indeed.. thesthis is the most frame killing scenery i have. So i maxed it out a little with that. I get 30-38 fps with that scenery and full AI traffic, weather etc.

looks a little bit laggy, damn, fsx really sucks at frame rates, you can't escape not even with an i7 and a master video card, of course FRAPS affects the frame rate a little bit...lets hope Microsoft Flight solves the issue of FPS

@wilfredotour2 aye, its fps intense. And to add on, well, the scenery package used here is a pure fps killer mate. All other default scenerys run smooth as silk (45-55fps) on high settings, just switzerland gets around 25fps.

Not to mention fraps :) Hope dies last, lets hope MS doesnt f**k up "flight" ..

But from Geforce its one of the strongest i guess.
