I can't believe i just learnt how heart heart bypass surgery works while on youtube, sitting on my bed.

Execellent video at least i know how they performed my quad bypass which i had after having a VF arrest which quicky cardioverted to S R. I had a Singlevein to RCA, Singlevein to OM, Singlevein to D1 and LIMA to LAD.

How about going vegan for 60 days. Problem solved. Keep these guys out of your chest. Put down the cheeseburgers, cigarettes, booze, and my personal favorite ranch dressing. Clogged arteries can be reversed by avoiding all animal products. It funny the first thing the doctor will tell you after he gutted you and took all your money is too change your lifestyle.

Thanks to all the doctors at Modesto Doctors Hospital who got me through my heart surgery in February 2009. I got a new pig valve at the same time. I feel fully recovered now and have had no problems and here it is July 8, 2011. Praise God.

@jamy2991 my stepfather had a bypass surgery today - looks like everything went ok. (he is diabetic so i guess the first few weeks will really tell how the operation was)

the surgeons on this hospital has 4-6 patients every day. these guys knows what their doing.

That was a well done series. It showed what happened without being grotesque. Tthe surgeon was informative and kept his explanations simple. Best of all you could tell by the frequent pauses in his speech that his concentration was on the procedure not the video.

this vid was about a strong coagulating response after surgery and blood cell damage from blood pump . been wondering for years why heads can not be kept alive when body dies, this vid says blood pumped thrhough machines gets damaged fast. bad reaction to plastic in tube i guess or crushed cells by pump action. wonder if other tubes and pump method work better. some chemical coating in plastic tubes.
