Since it's release I have played No Mercy on my still working N64 through the years. After playing many other wrestling video games, No Mercy is still my most favored and enjoyed. I have mastered the gameplay and also noticed how Benoit is the most challenging competitor when cpu controlled. If you're playing on expert and you're not skilled at the gameplay, Benoit will cripple your ass! I wish N64 had online play. I'm a serious competitor at this game.

ok after trying myself.. i have a custom made rvd...and yea.. sorry bout that.. you aint kidding when u say benoits stats are up there...however i managed to get the 3 count after 1 minute and 13 seconds. wish i could post it like how u did cuz i know noone will believe it.. as well i can intro you to how SOME of the actuall taunts can be used in highspots...i can do em ALL .except for the oppostion straddling the as rvd dropkicks em off.. and the 360 oposition hanging over the edge leg drop

ok....what the hell was the point of this post? big deal u beat benoit in an average time...i beat people on expert in 43 seconds! i got an rvd made that can do damn near EVERY spot he does in his arsenal to date...YES the vanterminator 2 versions..rolling thunder as well.. EVEN a regular van daminator.. provided the 2nd player or computer can catch whatever weapon i toss to them, and as they do i launch the x pac jump180 kick...

@ThePapitas123 i've never actualy "reversed" a special before. Only time my opponet ever got a special on me was if it was a hanicap i really messed up it, or if i was trying to lose to get 100% for belt. I am always too damage to even attempt i reverse in both situations.

Though i have used my opponets special on them before. instead of using my own special, I'd press A+B and do theirs, if thats what you ment.

i've been playing this game since it came out same as you on and off, i was undertaker on expert and beat christian in 47 seconds, i can't remember my moves in order it was summit like a chokeslam ,powerbomb then i got him in the corner and choked im with my boot then pinned him no finisher or anything! i also made scotty to hotty submit im 6 seconds he ran towards nme doing a clothesline i armbarred it he submitted instantly. never happened again though :( BEST GAME EEEEEEVER

pet peeve survival getting knocked out with one punch when there are people blocking the ropes or when someone is laying on the floor seperates me from my fighter or when a wrestler can't beat up his fighter he hits me when my back is turned and i'm fighting someone else! or i'm about to knock someone out then it stops me cause another wrestler is running down the ramp! love this game though it keeps the days going good! haha

When in Special mode, you do a Strong Grapple, and then move the Ctonrol Stick, like you would for a taunt. Your guy will automaticly do his Special move. If they're on the ground, however, you just have to do a low grapple with A. For example,, you're using CAW Ric Flair. If you're in Special mode, and you grapple at your opponents legs while he's face up, Ric will do the Figure-4 Leglock. Understand? Same for Corner Specials. Strong grapple in corner, use the Control Stick, Special. Get it? :D

Well, technically when he did a back grapple counter it dropped your spirit some, so really he hurt you in that way. But he never did a damaging move. Usually they do ground counters though, so I'm surprised he hever cheaply nailed you with one.
