  • What a wonderful and caring Lord we serve. Always there for us. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks Lots,

    Heb 13:5-6

for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

  • Blessings, SecretGarden. It was tough getting a "whole" song out of Dad. He would start singng something and a verse of someting else that fit would come to mind and he would take off.

  • Really wonderful!

Any chance you have a recording of Dad doing "

    The great speckled bird"?

  • Thanks, I don't recall that Dad ever sang it, but the song is great. I noticed you mentioned the song in your latest video series, so I posted the lyrics there! They are a great fit.

    Through His Blood,

    Jim

  • Now that actually surprises me because it is just the type of song he would sing and right in his range.

Ahh well at least you know why I wanted it :) Thanks for the lyrics BTW

  • 100/100***** Wonderful song and wonderfully sung by Dad!!! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks Jimmy, I am always blessed by you and Lotis. You guys are neat!

  • Awesome Brother! God Bless!

  • Thanks brother Tali, Hope you are having a great week. Appreciate your work on YT.

  • Amen, and a bit farther in the chapter is mentioned another bird, even an unclean one: "Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; & God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?" (Lk 12:24). The preacher Spurgeon forever impacted me when he said that if God hears "the young ravens which cry" (Ps 147:9), won't He hear me?

  • Thanks ER, Wouldn't it be great to hear a Spurgeon sermon on "Christian" TV today?

  • Oh yeah, then I'd actually pony up and get cable.
