@MrMewpy the man who played Nikki's "dad" played a entirely different character when he married Kay. Nikki's father's name is Nick Reed and Kay's husband was Rex Sterling. Two different characters played by the same actor.

Okay and Nikki had the NERVE to look down her nose at Sharon when her beginnings were almost like Sharon's to a T??? I think that's what's wrong with Sharon now; I think she had an abusive/sexual relationship with her father and since then she's been promiscuous, always seeking the attention from men. I wish Y&R would write that in for her so she could get some help!!!

they had a ghost on a 70's soap opera, too. there was a scene with the ghost of a man standing in the middle of the road and it scared the hell out of the person driving towards him. it also scared me so bad i had nightmares about it for months.

With Jill turning out not to be Katherine's daughter, it would be cool to find out that Nikki is. They already have that great bond. If they do right something like that, they better hurry. I don't want to seem morbid. But jeanne cooper is 88 years old. How long will she continue on the show.

@novusmundi Yeah, only it turned out that she never had a daughter. The child that she had with Arthur and gave up for adoption was a boy. Katherine never held the baby when it was born. The boy is named Tucker McCall and he's a lot like Victor Newman.

Erica Hope orginated the character in 1978. There's a picture of her on that french website for Y&R.

Aw, don't worry Nikki, after all you're father would come back in the future as Kay's husband Rex! -:) I forgot all about that until I saw this clip that the actor who played Sexy Rexy also played Nikki's father. I always wondered what Melody Thomas Scott thought about that one.

Actually I learned that the actor who played Rex (Quinn Redeker) played 3 different characters on the show. Nick Reed (1979), Joseph Thomas (1979-1980), and Rex Sterling (1987-1994; 2004).
