  • Ok first part is potc ish but different key starts in b flat major and shifts to c sharp major... Odd keys hans doesnt usually do if you know his music, powell on the other hand loves that shit

  • underated

  • hahahhahahah i like it a lot man!

  • Never saw or heard of this movie, but I heard Hans did the soundtrack, so took a peek.

Sounds similar to John's other tracks. The first part sounds like PIrates of the caribbean.

  • @masteryodaman111 There's another sound track of Eldorado i think it's called Friends Storm, and that one has a little part of the main theme of POTC. And yes El dorado was first.

  • ça me rapelle mon enfance

  • I never knew Hans Zimmer did this soundtrack too! The guy is everywhere!

  • Hans Zimmer did this too!?!?!? What a living Legend...

  • everyone keeps saying the biggining is like pirates of the carribian.

i think so too but im just saying, i love this music to.

  • Every one who think that it is like pirates of the caribbean look for pirates of the caribbean dead mans chest Tia dalma

  • Every one who thinks look up for pirates of the caribbean "Tia Dalma" soundtrack

  • Aside from the beginning, this is ALL John Powell.

  • why... does this remind me of pirates of the caribbean?

  • @filipinaporcelina27 It's the same composer :P

  • omg, this biginning sound sooooo much like the soundtrack from POTC 1: Underwater March!!!

  • ALSO JOHN POWELL IS THE BEST!

  • The first seconds are exactly the same notes as in Pirates of the Caribbean, savvy?

  • CAN NOT HANDLE THIS LEVEL OF EPICNESS

  • after seeing potc 4, i think it would best fit in with that one of the pirates movies :p just from the spanishyness like they had a bit of in it

  • Its one of my favourit soundracks! Thats the best: 1:02

  • Hans Zimmer again? Wow...legend

  • sometimes i love this community^^

the only composer who i can hear in this track is john powell... but maybe hans is hidden very nicely so i might be wrong ;-)

  • why doesn't itunes have this...

  • épic.

  • Listening to this track from 1:15 onwards.. I always get shivers in my spine when I watch the movie and hear this music playing in the background. Awesome.

  • @beeman2075 definitely agree!

  • these kind of movies arn't shown in cinema's so thats mainly why they dont get as much credit

  • brilliant soundtrack brilliant movie

  • Friends....never say goodbye.

  • what was the song when cortes arrives in the new world? I ve heard it somewhere else too.

  • This is possible my favorite dreamworks movie out there thus far.

I love the old classics- so amazing, and the characters in this movie as well as the voice acting and hilarious punts saved this movie story line more then anything. I love the music too. Though I'm not sure if Hans produced this one. I think he did more "Its Tough To Be A God" from the El Dorado soundtrack

  • hans zimmer kicked appolo's butt! ... he is the GOD OF MUSIC!!

  • it's same music of parite of the caribbean

  • @VERGILxPRINCE You mean Pirates of the Caribbean is the same as this, since Pirates of the Caribbean came out much later than this.

  • It's sounds a bit like Pirates of the Caribbean

  • This music is by John Powell, not Hans Zimmer. Zimmer is not involved in this song!

  • The music was composed by Zimmer and John Powell.

I might be wrong, but looks like Zimmer was more involved with the singed tracks and less with the score.

In fact, IMHO, this sounds a lot more like John Powell rather than "Zimmeresque"

  • When I die, I want Morgan Freeman to host the funeral, and I want Hans Zimmer to lead the band.

  • @CommodoreHorton Good choices...

  • @CommodoreHorton You sir...are BRILLIANT!!!

  • @CommodoreHorton

I think because of the music you would open your coffin and resurrect

  • @ariausdeutschland Hopefully not in a zombie-esque manner.

  • @CommodoreHorton Same but I want to be alive to see it!

  • @SuperPajina -.-'......

  • @CommodoreHorton dude, when I die, my paradise of choice will be a rock bands paradise.

  • @CommodoreHorton The funeral costs will bankrupt you, but worth it!

  • i love hanszummer ^^

The Curse of Black Pearl...fíjense

  • amazing

  • Hans Zimmer is a great composer.

  • started off sounding like it was out of Pirates 2. i realize its the same composer

  • I really like the Spanish music they incoperated in the song, and of course the general theme of the movie El Dorado. Thanks for posting!

  • wweeeee!!!! I wanna go save someone now. LOL. Thanks for posting!

  • I love the intro. It reminds me of PotC! <33

  • nice music! I love it !! ♥

  • The beginning is the Pirates of the Caribbean motif for the pirates in the first movie.

  • I like Hans Zimmer and all, but a lot of his music just sounds the same..

  • He has his own style, that's all. Most of the composers have their own style too. That's my opinion anyway... :)

  • Then you should listen to more of his music, A LOT of soundtracks sound different, I'd say the composer with a lot more music a bit more noticeable style is James Horner's animated movie based scores. My favorite Hans Zimmer score is Lion King's because of how diverse and unique it turned out to be. It defined epic and it really was.

  • @thecandyman86 It has been a year since you wrote this comment, but take a look at Black Hawk Down soundtrack to see that Hans Zimmer can compose other kinds of music. It's a wonderful soundtrack with arabic and african influences (because the movie is set in Somalia) :D

  • @thecandyman86 The Prince of Egypt is another on that is a little different.

  • Right!

  • This was the coolest piece of music in the film.

  • yea, I agree!!! =D

  • I agree 2!

  • this sounds just like the pirates of the carribean theme just a little remix

but its practically the same in the begining

  • Hans zimmer (the one who composed for "At World's End), also made this music

    so yeah...

  • Actually its that Pirates sounds like this song sicne this movie came out first. I love them both

  • me encanta ! ^_^

  • One of my all-time favorite pieces of music...:-D.

    ~*Kelsey*~

  • amo esa pelicula me encanta

    me recuerda muchas cosas

  • Y yo. Gracias por comentar :)
