I ve been to MOTHERS FINES, an allmost(...)black band that played and plays REAL funkrock. REAL MUSIC.

Now, now . . . generalizing just a bit, aren't we? I'm German (living in the U.S.) and I'm constantly chair-dancing to this song. :) This was taped in July 1984 and maybe the mix of beer and heat lead to the subdued mood. :P Seriously, the sit-down concept of the show "Musikladen" or "Music Store" was always a bit odd to me, watching it as a kid.  The show also included German "Schlager" music and therefore you had quite a large number of older folks in the audience.
