  • anazing movie, great music!!!

  • MOVE THE FUCK ON! SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!! HEHE

  • 0:18 so funny

  • "Where is he!!!!!"....love that score :D

  • i love Edward Norton

  • Terence Blanchard - is a genius!

  • NY - it's a Famous place of the World.

I'm Russian, and I very loving this movie.

Edward Norton - very-very professional actor. He is Super Star!

  • This song is so fucking depressing it lines up so well with the whole emotion of the movie.

  • @Maj0ra Totally agree!!!!! :I

  • My breakfast theme song....Fucking EPIC!!!

  • 1 person is a terrorist

  • One of my favorites movies !

  • What a magnificent piece of music.

  • I uploaded the entire film on my account.

  • This movie was sort of like, if you took the atmosphere of M Night Shyamalan movies, the cinematography of an Oliver Stone movie, and the plot of a Scorsese movie and mixed all the BEST parts together.

  • I loved the music in this movie, it really set up the atmosphere.

  • I remember I was sitting in the cinema with a friend back in 2003, the movie started, after this opening title we were literally shocked. I was sure after the opening title, that we're about to see a masterpiece, and I will cry at the end. And I was right.

  • This beginning scene is epic. The sheer awe, beauty and sadness of those twin memorial lights reaching the heavens coupled with apocalyptic music really establishes the movie's post-9/11, post-apocalyptic setting without a word said. I have never seen a more viscerally deep beginning to any other movie.

  • @booza872 : I agree. Very very visceral music .

  • best movie ever

  • the only spike lee movie I like.

  • @xerxerxex

    same here

  • @xerxerxex Have you seen "Inside Man?"

  • @lejistar not a bad film, I mean it had all the elements great cast, great plot, etc...but it just fell short of "Great Movie." I probably need to see it again, been a long time since I've sat down and watched it...I loved the ending I thought that was executed very well/

  • @lejistar That's another awesome movie... Denzel Washington, Clive Owen/ Jodie Foster, unreal!

  • Vladimir Kozlov was in this

  • beautiful sequence. thanks for posting this.

re: the twin towers take a look at the film september clues by simon shack

  • I'm not an American, but the scene, lights and the music hit me hard too. All those people ... Just heart breaking

  • twin towers r.i.p

  • i remember when i was a kid coming back from florida Looking at those lights from the twin towers once were standing at the washington bridge ,sad times...now its my time to take my stand in NYC as i grew up on longisland im 18 now.

  • Beautiful song

  • I AGRE

  • This whole movie gives me goosebumps

  • doesn't matter for how many times ive been listening.. this music still brings me somewhere full of pain and regret.

  • same for me

  • the two best scenes in this movie are first edward nortons monologue and second the road trip with his father cross the country, that was very moving.

  • specially the part when rosario dawson shows up

  • such a brilliant movie and amazing soundtrack, in my opinion spike lee's best work

  • This movie is great, but as we are speaking about Spike Lee's best movies, we must mention "Malcolm X". I think it's even better than 25th hour.

  • Spike's best work was Do The Right Thing.

  • Thats your opinion.

  • word.

  • I LOVE this movie, watched it 100 times and im still not sick of it!!

  • Until a couple of weeks ago, I was pretty much convinced that this would be my all time favorite movie... But having seen "revolutionary road", I have to admit it's even better... Best movie ever... beautiful soundtrack, kept me speachless for hours...

  • that song takes me somewhere in pain.. one of the bests in every way ever..

  • Best Movie ever made. I could watch it a million times. This song is amazing.

  • What a brilliant piece of score by Terence Blanchard, he is so amazing.

  • Best movie ever, one of my most favorites. The theme music in the opening titles is just touching! Most underrated film,i can't believe it!I wish i could find this song somewhere!

  • The whole soundtrack is great, have the intro if you want

  • I loved this movie. Still do.

  • this movie was the SHIT!!!! and this theme is extraordinarily amazing

  • perfect music ever...

  • Norton and Pepper really took this film. Norton displayed his acting skills in Primal Fear and Pepper in Saving Private Ryan before.

  • music is fuckin crazy, that combined with the freedom towers still gimme chills. great and HIGHLY underrated movie

  • Class film.

  • One of the most underrated, never heard of movies. Fucking amazing movie.

  • It is, I have seen this film probably 15 times and every time it gets so much better. Norton is amazing, as always, but the ensemble cast makes it so great

  • I wanna make a sequel called 7th year, it would be so fucking great.

  • i guess it would be great

  • I just really love this movie, it's so good. Do you watch it in English or with a German dub?

  • @Maj0ra Towards the end of 2009, 25th Hour got put on quite a few best of the decade lists. One critic said it was the best film of the decade.

I love it, a truly amazing piece of work.

  • @Maj0ra Agreed...as is Edward Norton one of the most underrated actors.

  • nice theme, one of the greatest ever

  • Spike Lee has become a truly great director

I use to think of him as a Martin Scorsee wannabee. I think now he is better than Scorsee.

  • Although I never thought of Spike Lee as a "wannabee" anything, and he's been a great director, for me, since "Do the Right Thing." this film is a towering achievement! Everyone needs, at least an attempt, to empathize, to imagine themselves as having lived differently. Sort of flip side of "It's a Wonderful Life." And, Scorcese has fallen some in my eyes since I've come to examine his penchant for romanticizing his idols, such as Howard Hughes. I find no fault with "Raging Bull," however.

  • I agree with you , I loved Raging Bull, He should have won the Oscar for that instead of The Departed...

  • I remember when this movie came out,it was only played in 1 theater here! I have an autographed movie poster and it is one of my greatest possesions.

  • this film has got no where near enuf noteriety...

  • damn right

  • @coltfan111 Too lazy to spell 'enough'?

  • @skkygirl Not got enUF of a life to not be a pedantic cock?

  • one of the greatest themes ever

  • I absolutely LOVE this movie.......

  • My favorite score, followed by The Orange Man from Unbreakable and the score from The Truman Show.

  • so sad :(

  • I am watching this film, and watching, watching and watching it again! I can`t stop!

    AMAZING!

  • What's the name of this song and the singer or artist?

  • its called the 25th Hour theme by Terence Blanchard

  • This is simply Truth.

    No selfish hollywood composing.

    Its just the Truth!

  • so totally moving love this song

  • Love this SoundTrack. Love this film. Thanks for sharing.

  • no its called. Opening Title on the soundtrack!

  • wonderful music, wonderful movie !

  • great!!

  • It's so perfect that it seems like a music written 100 years ago. It's recent and it's a classic. As powerful as the music of The Godfather.

  • epic, epic, epic.... äffes

  • epic movie... epic music... epic scene

  • what a great song

  • One of the most tragic pieces of music ever written. So heartbreakingly beautiful.

  • i love this song good music

  • great music! does this song have no a normal name ?

  • just 25th Hour theme

  • BEAUTIFUL !
