my hubby was a host when I first met him. He quit to be with me. But he told me when he worked there he basicly had no life of his own and had to risk his health by getting piss drunk everynight...

it's not as 'easy' as one might think. I'm glad he quit that job. it was unhealthy as all hell. being a 'hostess' is a lot easier (I was one) but it's dangerous...so I won't ever work that kinda job again. :(

On a more positive note- There can be some pretty strong relationships built between the hosts. Treating their 'kohai' to expensive meals, giving advise, and being there as a friend. That's something that the hostess scene lacks... Women are all about drama and gossip! So exhausting! lol.
