That looks cool but pretty much every pro actually does a jump serve. I don't mean like this volleyball type serve but if you look at Roddick, Federer, Isner, etc., you see they jump a couple of inches off the ground on every serve.
This guy is starting to serve like this left handed too. That is going to be something to see. He is becoming the best ambidextrous tennis player in the world and we will start to see more of this in the future.
Thats a very interesting motion, it actually looks alot like a volleyball serve. I'd be interested to know how consistently you are able to serve, and what your spin capabilities are, but you do get a great amount of torque and a much higher point of contact which are both valuable assets for a serve. Try watching Pete Sampras' arm motion a couple times. If you can take your wrist out of the equation and hit primarily by rotating your shoulder you may get more pop. And beware of foot faults.
That is probably the most unique serve I've ever seen. And apparently highly effective. I'm going to try tossing the ball ~8 feet in front of me next time.

He hits the ball as his feet touch the ground, he's actually lower than a regular player when he hits it.

hes also further inside the court so that might make up for the fact but idk

yes it is

@fireredlink1000 yes it is, aslong as he doesnt run or walk during his serve, foot fault or touches the court before the ball is hit then hes good
