  • George's refusal to simply say "Citizens United is a ridiculous decision." is the reason our media is NOT liberal. Even if he believes it, he's too afraid of his corporate bosses to state the flippin' obvious.

  • i would vote for steven colbar even though something might now happen if he is elected, at least it would be funnie

  • What if he did run some day? Would he win or give the public a run for the money?

  • Would be funny if it wasn't true on some of what he was saying its kind of a way to show people how screwed up things are in America in a hush hush kinda way.

  • George Stephanopoulos comes off as a douchebag even in a mock interview.

  • @Dadge42 He is supposed to be a serious journalist, and knows Colbert is giong to make a fool of him. He is just trying to get a lick in now and then...

  • host is such a douche

  • fuck MSM

  • As usual Colbert is about three swings ahead of every conventional MSM presstitute's best curve-ball....

  • Funny John Stewart never attacks Ron Paul

  • Is this guy serious, or is this a comedy skecth?

  • i would campaign for colbert

  • @sarahgoldfish21 Your a Colbertist ... LMAo... God bless Colbertia my home sweet home.. Too Funny

  • lol

  • Is he ad libbing all this. If so he's great.

  • ANONYMOUS-ANON-(backwards)NONA-Wikipedia Says..Nona was one of the Parcae, the three personifications of destiny in Roman mythology (the Moirai in Greek mythology and in Germanic mythology, the Norns), and the Roman goddess of pregnancy. The Roman equivalent of the Greek Clotho, she spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle. Nona, whose name means "ninth", was called upon by pregnant women in their ninth month when the child was due to be born.RON PAUL DELIVERED 3000 BABY'S <3

  • haha the cheese kept floating off in space...

  • This guy is fantastic!

  • Media trolls media

  • go george! fuck corporations. those things arn't people

  • i love how cobert just turns this stupid ass news anchor look eve more stupid sure is funny for sure

  • genuine laughter out loud, but the kind of ill-at-ease laughter, due to the cutting edge expose of colbert's deadpan comedic style. even more disarming without the snickering audience

  • P3

Crime families really do believe that "money really can put you above the law" (so they think) we must see to it that after 9/11 it does not - just as the CIA & Seal team 6 showed Osama Binladen - billions in oil & drug money, PR & private armies that kill peoples families cannot protect you, the West is coming back! Stronger than ever!

No power on earth that can defeat a united West from without - it is the cancer of corruption & irrationalism & lack of Western ethos that undermines us

  • P2 continued It used to be the Mafia 1900's-1970s, since 1945 its been Oil powers such as the Saudi's & Binladens, AIPAC-neocons & the NWO(exxon-haliburton) - what ever mystical nonsense or PR they put out to confuse you or legitimise themselves its the same organised crime activity of using the power & institutions of the legitimate US govt against the citizens!

  • P1 - good comedy from Colbert.

The title says it all - ever since Tammany hall (as a system no party bias intended) US politics has been in bed with organised crime - nothing has changed structurally - different power groups have used media & money to launder their image despite continuing to undermine Western philosophy & values - the traditional epicurean & stoic values the US constitution is based on are not followed, so the law is dismissed, terrorism & Organised Crime continue.

  • ~~> I LOL'd so hard I got looks from across the office... Colbert 2012...

  • I love Colbert!

  • I'm a one man Lewis and Clark; I'm Just looking for my Sacajawea." funniest line ever lol.

  • imagine trying to sell a car to steven. the most unsure sale ever

  • LMAO! "Mitt The Ripper"

  • hahahaha I hope people got the joke!... btw.. does Donald Trump really have a ring you can kiss? Or was that just a Pope joke?

  • Comment removed

  • i heard colbert wants Ron Paul for VP ...xD

  • @redcomic619

I think they play it both ways, characterize Paul as the crazy old man and then praise his consistency. But if you notice they don't ever mention his stance on the FED or IRAN. They are basically trying to have their cake and eat it too.

  • Brilliant

  • i agree with sethvicious... this would be funny... but because of the way things are it makes me sick to my stomach...

  • Hes right look at Obama and Mitt Romney backed in millions of dollars from Goldman Sachs. They can talk a lot.

  • The serial killer made me laugh. Too fucking funny.

  • George, Bill Clinton's former lapdog is an asshole.

  • You know Democrats are retarded, because Obama.

    Partisan jokes are old.

  • Thanks Mox, I needed a good laugh tonight :)

  • I'm gettin hungry!

  • This fucking repetitive hack was likely forced to do this by his masters at Viacom...what a nice way to attempt to take the youth vote away from Ron Paul in SC. Fuck him. His bit on trying to be a liberal mock-up of Bill O is old...really old. Nothing is funny about the NDAA...or war with Iran or the dollar's purchasing power falling. He's getting involved where he doesn't belong. Time for jokes and laughing is over...and to those who think it's funny should seriously wake the fuck up.

  • @MattAHTatTat Easy internet warrior. Haha

  • Colbert and Stewart although seemingly harmless are actually a huge problem. Their purpose is to slenderize the right as a bunch of buffoonish GW Bush types, ensuring that young voters stay loyal to Obama in 2012. Put down the XBOX and use you heads people!

    Ron Paul 2012

  • @bassefa1984 What are you talking about? Stewart praises Ron Paul all the time.

  • this would be funnier if everything wasn't fucked

  • lets not forget that this supreme court with their corporations are people were appointed for the most part by republicants.

  • It's true...the more money you have the more you get to speak!

  • Colbert is taxing to listen to. We get buddy. Irony. Satire Fine. He takes a clever 2 minutes bit and milks it for 10 minutes. Weak.

  • Comedy can only take us so far. Colbert should take Ron Paul seriously and endorse liberty.

  • I don't think George saw the trap Cobert has laid. Yes, THAT'S what your real life bullshitting politician sound like people. STOP taking them serious and elect Ron Paul!!!

  • @mweibleii Ron Paul is a one-trick pony.

  • @JohnECocaine Only a media led citizen would say something like what you did.

check out the issues at ronpaul2012. com and stop trusting the media.

  • @JohnECocaine

And what's that's trick exactly? Liberty?

  • 4:25 Stephanopolis almost calls Colbert "Newt".

  • George boy here is so biased it is hard too listen to anything he says, kind of like Mitt the Flip, he is totally against or for something one day and later he goes 180 degrees, just like Mitt the Flip it's called having no integrity what so ever. Actually the elections should all be held on Colbert show or Jon Stewart show because, if it was not so important to our country, it is a comedy routine, none of the candidates represent the average man's views, there is no representative government.

  • HAHAHA "do you get your questions from anywhere else than facebook?"

  • George StephanopoMESS

  • @hempartist420 Hes ahead on Huntsman in SC

  • He is intelligent... I'd write him in. At least he can appreciate the lunacy of it all.

  • This is garbage. Stephanopus is a joke. Colbert is a joke.

This is a waste of time!!

  • @EpicDoucher trololo

  • I love how he gets George all twisted up in knots!

  • @snappycatchy What do you expect? Colbert does this for a living. He waltzes circles around this guy. I love the whole super PAC thing. Colbert can disavow any involvement: not mine, not my responsibility, no sir :-). Awesome. The fact that they can actually run tv ads tells you how much money they have in that super PAC.

The crazy thing is that Colbert is eating up 5% of voters, that's got to piss off the guys who are in it to win it.

  • Colbert is exposing the sham of our democratic process in elections. Good for him. It is a joke.

  • Why is it that nobody understand the vibe of the daily show/colbert report? John Stewart is a comically pretend democrat, but really a republican, and colbert is a comically pretend republican, but really a democrat. Then they play off of each other. it's brilliant.

  • @redkef Nobody but you understands that because it's crap. Jon is playing the role of the media critic, and Stephen is playing the role of a satirist against corporate America and right-wing commentary. It's not a playing off of political parties at all in any capacity.

  • @snipzor John Stewart is an over-the-top pretend democrat. He says crazy ultra liberal things in his show as jokes, while underneath promoting subliminally an actually more libertarian point of view. Libertarian, by the way, is what the republican party used to be before fake democrats took it over and ruined it.

Colbert pretends to like small government and social conservativism, but is really ultra left-wing liberal. He seems to think that people need to be controlled for their good.

  • To the people worried about this hurting Ron Paul, go to 3:00 and listen to what he says. Read between the lines. Who do you think that candidate will be? Obviously not Mitt, not Rick P, not Rick Bumjuice, not Newt, won't be Huntsman... hmmm who could it be?

  • Colbert = utter genius.

  • excuse me george! I was talking.

  • Colbert is so necessary in this day and age!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Is this suppose to be a joke against Paul? I don't get it.

  • @timberwolves100 how would it be against ron paul? it's a joke against the media... if anything colbert is most supportive of paul on the GOP side

  • @brianestoll But is he really running for something? And if he is you can't tell because he is joking about everything. Is this a joke or for real? I know comedy is his persona but you have to lay off if you are serious about something.

  • @timberwolves100 oh yeah.. i know, he's freaking George out because he won't be serious at all. I think he figures people "get" the point.. everything he says (acting just like the candidates) is ridiculing the entire process of the primaries

  • The greatest troll ever.

  • vermin supreme 2012

  • BREAD AND CIRCUS TO DISTRACT YOU

  • @FederalJacktube6 really, an entertainer is meant to distract...no way...how insightful...you got a book coming out?

  • he is already getting more consideration than Ron Paul.

  • I don't believe that Ron Paul is using a Super Pac. He is using money through his own campaign to run his ads.

  • @MatthewBMany guess you have never heard of Revolution PAC, or other Pacs that support Paul like Santa Rita Super PAC, and Endorse Liberty

  • @HIareUmad No I was unaware of those. Thank you for informing me.

  • @MatthewBMany You may have been thinking of Ron Paul not taking money from lobbyists, he has taken almost zero moneys from lobbyists. while other candidates have taken gigantic sums of money from lobbyists.

  • @HIareUmad I wish I could claim that as an excuse but unfortunately I was simply ignorant... thankfully that is a curable condition.

  • @HIareUmad Right on brother

  • @HIareUmad wrong. he's taken NO money from lobbyists! RP!

  • @phriendlybear Actually, RP got like 200 dollars. (lol) Mitt took $185, 560.00 There is a chart floating around somewhere.

  • @HIareUmad

    oh. lol ok.

  • @HIareUmad probably why he doesn't have a shot at winning! Pretty ironic too since Ron Paul is one of the biggest supporters of the citizens united decision :)

  • @durhamdf Probably why Ron Paul has a small chance at winning! Pretty interesting too since Ron Paul doesn't think government should tell you how you can or can't spend your money if you are a corporation or not. I am not a republican or a democrat, but I can see RP is the only candidate talking about real change. that is worth my vote. END THE FED. :)

  • @HIareUmad Just pointing out that the policies RP supports (I.E. un-restricted corporate spending in elections to buy politicians) are the same policies that ensure he will never get elected President

  • @durhamdf well, you bring up a very good point and I respect your opinion. For the people that are interested in Paul's position on this issue should watch /watch?v=20LopdUu4GY and /watch?v=Z-IvckPzn8M

  • @HIareUmad

    Yet he still sucks.

  • @mecher3k you suck

  • Supreme/Colbert 2012!!!!!

  • I would vote for him in a heart beat.

  • b.o.s.

  • Stephen Colbert is the Jonathan Swift of our times... A Modest Proposal... ugh... best satirist of our days. If you didn't know by A Modest Proposal, stop and go read it right now.

  • @snipzor NIce! Swift calculates the number of infants born in Ireland and asks what should be done with them. He points out that they are unfit for any employment, being even too young to steal. Neither will merchants buy or sell children. Therefore, it seems like a good idea that the people of Ireland simply eat the infants when they reach the age of one year. The writer treats the weight of an infant, what kind of dish it will make, and how many people it will serve. Distraction=Ignorance!

  • Stephen Colbert for Governor, President, and Pope!

  • WHAT A CIRCUS DISTRACTION

  • @dumbassstupidpeople1 YOU'RE MISSING THE POINT MR. ALL-CAPS.

  • i hate george stephapoopulus

  • anything to stop ron paul. fucking joke.

  • George is so boring next to Stephen.

  • Colbert and Stewart Support RON PAUL!

  • this is fucking hilarious

  • I love this man, "I was talking Jorge" FUCKING AWESOME

  • no one talking about the genius satire of the idea that money is speech

  • I like Colbert. I really wish he'd get behind Ron Paul.

  • @mule1969 He loves making fun of him too much, so that ain't gonna happen.

  • Rocky Anderson 2012

  • HAHAHAHAAAAAA. Mitt Is a serialkiller... that deserves a heartatackXDDD

  • I think the TV folk should ask themselves if what they do is good or bad for America. This was neither and therefore deserved far less than 10 minutes.

  • @theoremaxim Go somewhere else then, poopy face

  • @AveragePope Please refund the 10 minutes plus of my life I wasted watching that idiocy.

  • @theoremaxim Consider suicide.

  • @AveragePope You're an a-hole. lmao

  • Colbert is the guy who used the American flag as a suit

  • @Kardiatheon So what.

  • @AveragePope he's a peice of shit, taht needs to be flushed down the toilet.

  • @Kardiatheon I don't have a toilet. I save all my shit in little jars.

  • Colbert is a brilliant comedian

  • @f4kegucci Brilliance is an understatement. He is amazing, metaphors, subliminal messages. Shit's deep dogg but I agree.

  • Funny guy, interviewer was unsure if srs. I can already see him becoming the next Fry meme face

  • the interviewer was cliinton point man-

  • If your speach is worthless.Your money is worthless!

  • LOL!!

  • I'm stunned at how clueless this interviewer is....

  • DUCKING GENIUS!! =)))))))))))))))

  • that guy is the very reason the second amendment exist .

  • I was a big Colbert Fan a few years ago, but for me he jumped the shark with the Freedom Rally.

  • If anybody is smart enough they can pick out what he says and see what he actually meant during this. Like when they talk about his super pact coming out with those ads. Or about when he askes him about if corporations are people then they have the freedom of speech etc etc.

  • "Our country" Is a Terrorist Corparation.Funded by YOUR tax Dollars , stop your crying YOU support these criminals and thugs...NeoCons Chicken Hawks who send YOUR kids to WAR.

  • "Well I was Born in Washington DC so I got it covered all around" Perfect comment.

  • colbert is a troll lol

  • has e ever done anything on tv out of character?

  • @waksibra Ya. There was a short documentary that he did once. I think its on youtube somewhere. Just look for Stephen Colbert out of character.

  • @waksibra Yes.

  • George Stephanopoulos is a pure twit.

When faced with Presidential nominees he asks the about banning contraception.

With valuable airtime he interviews this guy? REALLY?

Way to go George. You are succeeding in keeping the masses ignorant and uninformed.

This is why we are stuck with Obama now, and will be stuck with Romney in the future.

    Thanks George, you F-ing tool!

  • @micdailing I thought you meant George Stroumboulopoulos for a moment lol.

  • @micdailing You mean were gonna be stuck with Steven Colbert.... Correct? Just thought I'd point out that minor mistake. Tho I wouldn't call it stuck more like ..... United as one nation under Steven Colbert.

  • Why are corporations not people? is it because when a business becomes encorporated it loses its legal responsibilities as a person? Or something like that? Someone please explain.

  • @waksibra

Really?!? You need it spelled out why corporations aren't people? They must be doing an excellent job at mind$&@*ing us!!

Corporations are not people because they do not bear any of the moral responsibility that actual people would. They are obviously still bound by the rule of law, but technically their main obligation is to maximize profits. Some corporations actually weigh the cost effectiveness of following vs. breaking laws in order to ensure maximum profits. Ridiculous!

  • Must have been a slow news day.

  • These reporters don't get any respect any more. There's only so much spin you can do until people no longer take you seriously.

  • i wouldnt vote for him, but i think stephen should really run for president.

  • LOL

reporter: "Im gonna try and get serious here"

    Colbert: "Good Luck"

  • What Stephen Colbert is doing, is great

he is mocking a failed system, where Money equals speech.

  • i really dnt get all this worrying everybody does about citizens united. Bottom line seems to be that just as corporations are protected by the 4th amendment, they are protected by the first. You should be able to spend your money however you want. Do we really think that this is the reason politics is so corrupt? Because of this decision from 2 years ago? Was politics that pure and honest 3 or 4 years ago? Give me a break

  • @BigDaddyDJD good point. Try telling that to a socialist democrat....er....liberal democrat.

  • @BigDaddyDJD Citizen United ruling escalated money equal speech agenda

and more lobbyist came in, if anything this comment you just made, proves that you have not watched Casino Jack (Documentary about Jack Abramoff)

You have not watched docs. like Buying Democracy.

also go on OpenSecrets org and follow the trace how politician vote depending on who is giving them money.

if that is democracy for you, then no wonder why you hate govt.

is not working for you or me.
