@LinkShack - UK and US are the two fattest 1st world countries .. Though I tend to argue that the obese populations aren't all stereotypically fat .. There are millions of men with huge bodies with lots of muscle that are categorized in Morbid obesity or level 2 obesity .. If you looking to see real stereotypical fat people (Those with loads of cellulite, blubber, extra skin everywhere) I can say it mows down to 18% .. The other lost 12% being statistically fat but not visually.
@AnotherYankee - Except there's not really no mutual difference .. Remember this is just an average American .. I havent even eating 100 hot dogs in my life and I'm only 14 .. Nor do I drink so much milk .. Eat cheeseburgers, anything like that so constant .. As for the soda part, There averaging out 2 sodas per day per American .. Most people I know drink soda a couple times a week. There are many other things to drink. There are tens of millions of Americans who don't match up to these means.
Instead of being shocked and disgusted by our waste these idiots want to make it seem fun. "Look at all the shit we waste. WEEEEEE! So much fun! Let's keep doing it. It's okay!" A truly disgusting "documentary".
@madblade No they are not, they are maintaining a neutral perspective like any other good documentary, a good documentary doesnt go "YOURE A BAD PERSON!" Want that? go talk to Michael Moore
I wonder how much food they have wasted to show how americans consume. They had better used food that was all going to be expired soon or has already expired.
and who profits...ex. United Fruit Co, Dole, etc...and how do those profits in turn affect countries and communites? Free trade, corporate agendas, political puppetry, etc. So our consumption not only directly deepens our footprint on our planet, but a social footprint is created as well recreating social inequalities and further deeping the gap between the rich and poor.
