@oldonyekai... Christians have commited much more crimes than muslims. In africa and elsewhere. Islam is a civilising force. As evidence look at nigeria: christian nigerians are currently killing,mutilating and banishing very young children. Why? Because these innocent babes have been branded "witches" or "devils" by christian ministers, who also blame them for every bad occurence like crops failing etc Nigerian muslims on the other hand have no part in this ignorance, apart from denouncing it

@MoeRocco75 thank you. what i find abhorrent is when a man does bad immediately an entire religion is labeled by the actions of that man/women.religion is submission to God, why would God allow for "priests" or "immams to punish the people that follow him in the most malicious ways. its man that tarnishes the reputation of religion not Religion itself...whther it be Islam or christinanity, there are good people and bad people, there actions should speak forthemselves not their religion!

Thanks for being reasonable.The high crimes committed by Arab muslims and European Christians in the name of their respective faiths, are unpardonable crimes in the eyes of Allah or any other high God of righteousness, truth and justice. I applaud you for not going in denial or trying to defend ancient murderers and rapists as many insensitive muslims often tend to do; as if those crimes against God could simply be swept away under a carpet and thus easily forgotten.The past should be accounted.

As you know in every religion there are good and bad people...i can't say the Arab Muslims were better..but look at it from this point of view....The crime they commited is not the real teaching of Islam...But that's in the past ...you have to let go of it in order for you to heal..I am from Africa..and i have seen how the Africans are being set against one another...and we cannot do anything about dat....Besides, you have to remember only Allah can be judge of that.

The problem with the out of sight and out of mind philosophy you're implying with regard to our painful history is that history might repeat itself;in the sense that the descendants of those rapists may continue to disrespect human rights of others without scruples.I believe it is important to deal with the past rationally and responsibly in order to prepare us for a future where similar religious misbehaviour would not occur.A public apology from those Arab countries would highly be wellcome.

@Oldonyiolenkai actually prophet muhammad(pbuh) was the first man to free a slave who was tortured and beaten by the pagans...it was Bilal, and prophet muhammad(pbuh) freed him and set him free. Bilal was the first man ever to call themuslims to prayer (ezan) and yes, Bilal was a black man....
