Why there is no mention of repenting from our sins or obeying the Lord? In Hebrews 5:9 it says Jesus is the eternal author of salvation to all who OBEY HIM. I dont think its a good idea to tell people to just " beleive" even Satan and the devils beleive in God and it won't do them any good at all. If God starts out with 160 billion people and loses 155 billion of them to eternal torture, how can we say that God is victorious?

However, I don't believe the phrase "angel of death" appears anywhere in the Bible, so the angel of death isn't going to be three places at one time. In my estimation, that's all a man made concept.

If more people end up in Hell because they never heard about Jesus and only a few go to heaven,then satan can stick his finger at God and call him a failure for losing so many human souls.

Hi Bella. I just wanted to say that when you decide to give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, it is a very difficult path to start out on. Each time you curse or do something that you know is not Christ like, you should immediately ask for forgiveness. Becoming a new Christian is not an easy road. At first it's so hard to overcome the way you are used to living, but the more you fight and overcome, the more Jesus will come to your rescue.
It's just like starting a new job. You start at the bottom and work your way up to the top. The more knowledge and wisdom the Lord gives you, the more that is expected of you. He doesn't expect you to be perfect right off the bat. It's a process my friend. You have to prove that you are serious about living in the path of the Lord. Jesus knows our hearts. He knows if we are serious or not. He also knows we are human and that we make mistakes. But IMMEDIATELY ask forgiveness and repent.

Hey Hoosipower. I don't think I can answer that question because I do not know of any Catholics who carry a statue of Mary. I also do not know any Catholics who go from house to house praying. I have seen lots of Mormons do that but no Catholics. I have been to many parishes around the country and I am not aware of any Mary statue carrying Catholics that go house to house praying. I don't even know any Catholics that worship Mary. If you do, I would have to say they are not Catholic.

Why there is no mention of repenting from our sins or obeying the Lord? In Hebrews 5:9 it says Jesus is the eternal author of salvation to all who OBEY HIM. I dont think its a good idea to tell people to just " beleive" even Satan and the devils beleive in God and it won't do them any good at all. It has also been estimated that only about 5 billion of these people have been believers in Jesus Christ. If God starts out with 160 billion people and loses 155 billion of them to eternal torture, how can we say that God is victorious?

However, I don't believe the phrase "angel of death" appears anywhere in the Bible, so the angel of death isn't going to be three places at one time. In my estimation, that's all a man made concept.

Judas hung himself. His corpse started to rot. Evidently, the rope broke and he fell. Then he busted open like any corpse would. Therefore, that's not really a contradiction. You're making too much of things, because you just don't want to believe it's true. Anyway, I've sent you a message of explanation in full.

Not only is this a silly straw to clutch at, the text specifically precludes your defence.
The text says that Judas fell HEADLONG and burst.
"Headlong" in Greek, as well as English, implies a reckless running and stumbling.
So, yes, it's a direct contradiction, as you would no doubt readily admit in any other context.
Don't be too quick to dismiss facts just because they don't fit into your denominational opinions.

The only people who go to hell are those who don't believe on Jesus as their Savior. They reject the truth, or they even deny the truth. Jesus saves, man! God made Jesus the sin bearer.

My thoughts are mostly that the Bible is a collection of fairy tales, and that that is a very fortunate thing. The god of the Bible is a sadistic tyrant who thinks that "be my unquestioning slave or I will torture you for ever, unspeakably and without any chance of learning or repentance" is a love letter.
I thought about it for over 30 years as a Christian pastor and Bible teacher. I also got a decent education an examined the evidence.
You, too, can embrace reality and be free!

The first part of this vid, the 232,000 dying every day is lame. So what? It's not news, everybody dies, the mortality rate is and always be 100%. The rest of it is pure nonsense. Agreed Deidara. Death is a natural part of the life cycle, but the erroneous "doctrine of eternal damnation" is a very unnatural and frankly depraved attribute of God's true character.
Christians are themselves deceived. The early church had no concept of "eternal" punishment, and a thorough analysis of the how grossly the Bible has been mistransliterated would profit any Christian tremendously.

Your estimations with Muslims are probably pretty accurate as well as if you made estimates with buddhists and Hindus and atheists as well as if you made conservative estimates with unbelieving Jews. My issue is with the estimations on catholics; fortunately the catholic church seems to lack so much in uniformity that I believe that many in that church will hear and believe in the saving message of the gospel! Not all churches are Christian, but I believe there are Christians in every church.

How can Muhammed say that Jesus didn't die on the cross when he wasn't even alive at that time? How can Muhammed say anything that Jesus said when he was not even thought of being born at that time? There are 40 prophets in the bible that either prophecied of Jesus's birth, death and resurrection or that actually witnessed it for themselves. Why do you muslims believe such things that came from only one man and that came thousands of years later having no witness to the events of Jesus Christ?

He did not demand the cruel torture and death of the Son. Rather, WE are the ones who demanded the cruel torture and death of Jesus. The Father merely demanded that Jesus go to the ultimate human extent of loving us (i.e., "Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for those he loves.").

Hi Bella. I just wanted to say that when you decide to give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, it is a very difficult path to start out on. Each time you curse or do something that you know is not Christ like, you should immediately ask for forgiveness. Becoming a new Christian is not an easy road. At first it's so hard to overcome the way you are used to living, but the more you fight and overcome, the more Jesus will come to your rescue.

It's just like starting a new job. You start at the bottom and work your way up to the top. The more knowledge and wisdom the Lord gives you, the more that is expected of you. He doesn't expect you to be perfect right off the bat. It's a process my friend. You have to prove that you are serious about living in the path of the Lord. Jesus knows our hearts. He knows if we are serious or not. He also knows we are human and that we make mistakes. But IMMEDIATELY ask forgiveness and repent.

Hey Hoosipower. I don't think I can answer that question because I do not know of any Catholics who carry a statue of Mary. I also do not know any Catholics who go from house to house praying. I have seen lots of Mormons do that but no Catholics. I have been to many parishes around the country and I am not aware of any Mary statue carrying Catholics that go house to house praying. I don't even know any Catholics that worship Mary. If you do, I would have to say they are not Catholic.

Universalism sounds great on the surface, but it inevitably brings you to the same Epicurean conclusion. Plus, universalism makes no sense with the violent maniac of the old and new testament. Universalism might make more sense with deism, since an indifferent or unaware god would have no reason to harm people whether they are good or bad.
I was a Christian universalist for about 6 months before abandoning Christianity altogether. I think it is the last stop for many ex-Christians.

Since Jesus is the only path to heaven therefore, we should change our beleifs from other fake Gods to the real God. So Shas1814, just because I choose to bow down, and honor a God who does exists. He's not a monster. I believe the bible, and I am human. I say words I am not proud of, but my belief won't change. I do live rationally. I've seen so much pain, and hurt in this world. Why should God help us, when we kick him out of our lives, schools, and court houses? Answer that for me? Why call him, and wonder where he is when we've told him to leave (he left). Then we blame God for the evil? It's our faults.
