So now there is a new personality very special cat, but he's not a replacement. He is a comfort. I hope you have some comfort, too. All the best to you.
It is heartbreaking. My cat had a saddle block, too. Although I feel that the energy of our pets stays with us, I would just love to have the live version back even if just for one hour now and then. sigh....
