I find it terrible that major American distributors always make foreign shows appear as if they were American. This is one of the many Japanese shows where the opening/ending credits (and everything else) were changed so the show looked like an American one... And the worst thing is that those American distributors usually get the rights for international distribution, so we in Europe usually have to "eat" those adulterated versions...

Dont let the opening and ending fool you, this show had more drama and emo than most cartoons of the day, this is a show that will move anyone, and I am a better person for having grown up with it than with out it! a must see!

You can get The Little Bits on DVD-R, just google "stuff I like site". She has lots of the old Nick cartoons which are not commercially available on DVD, and they are awesome. :)
