It has a dedicated search button, you have just to press the leftmost button wherever you are in the OS and it will let you search anything stored in memory.

Hmm, my black one didn't come with 2 headphones, just one headphone and an extra mic part that the headphones plug into. Did you notice that one headphone wire is wayyy longer than the other?

Which is better black or white? I cant decide and its really frustrating....the white is shiny and finger prints aren't as visible if it were black and shiny. The black ( that he has in the video) is a matte black. Which means no fingers prints BUT if u had oil on your hands it will show up....Black is more professional looking too....HELP cant decideeeeeeeeeeee lol

@KellyClarksonRocks Unfortunately, the X10 comes out-of-the-box with Android v1.6, which means no multi-touch. There are many sources that say an update to 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2 would bring multi-touch - but it has yet to be confirmed. Thanks for watching!

@ShinnSin Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing! The black is a glossy black, similar to the white. It gets fingerprints pretty easily... It surprisingly, does not say Rogers on the phone, which is kind of cool!

One of the NorthGeek editros, Noah, is currently using an iPhone 3G (not S) and has gone on-record saying "my next phone will be Android" - so it's really a toss-up. I always loved the iPhone OS, but am really, REALLY impressed with Android. Try to get some hands-on time with both, if you can... Good luck!

@LaczupakabraPL Hi there - I wish I could help you, but I have no idea what you need the phone for - business or personal, what sort of apps do you need, are you more into multimedia? I would really need more info. You'd be in great shape with either phone, though! The X10 - in my opinion - has the edge because it's an Android device.

I totally agree about the keyboard, it's really annoying so I bought a supposedly other keyboard @ the android market named "Better keyboard" which is quite better than the original. totally worth the few cents

what I do disagree is the sound quality, you said that it's good, well in my opinion compared to a nokia n95 8gb orso it's shit to be honest. I agree with you about the rest.

I have the phone for about a month now and I freggin love it, I'll admit that, best phone that you can buy now !!

@Assyrian4lyf3 Thanks for your comment - please note that I was comparing sound quality to the Nexus One, not the Nokia N95 - which is primarily a multimedia handset - so yes, you could be correct, the N95 may have better speakers.

@erokurage Thanks for the question!! You can download multi language (including most Asian languages) keyboards from the Android market. Many are FREE, some are premium, but always reasonably priced. Also, there are ways to set up the entire Android OS in languages other than English and French - although I can't guarantee Japanese is an option - I would assume it is, though...

@6oViceTo9 The speakers are "GREAT" - well, it's all relative. They are better, in my opinion, than HTC's speakers on the N1. They had a little more bass than on my N1, and were a bit louder as well. I was quite pleased! I also found the speakerphone to be of higher quality. Thanks for your question!

out of the 1gb memory in the X10 how much MB is let for installing applications??? they say for the Desire wit 512 MB ur left with 120MB for apps installation sadly:(

if there r 50,000 apps for us 2 download why on earth are we stick with the limited memory, and doesn't Google do anything about it to allow us to install in the memory stick???

@zbateni There are rumours that future Android OS updates will allow for app storage on the SD Card - agree, that would be fantastic.

As for multitouch on the X10 - who is reporting that it will not be available?

If you really want to upgrade to a new generation (2.1 or 2.2) Android phone, I would consider the Nexus One and HTC Incredible - or its GSM equivalent (the Incredible is currently only a CDMA phone, out for Verizon in the US).

@dwolfe56 lol im not so good with what pop or IMAP does:D but it means that i can have my 2 yahoo acounts and 2gmail accounts and 1 live account in it right:D and get instant email:DI liked the Nexus one but you cant find it here in The Netherlands sadly wait but isisnt the nexus one and Desire the same phone?

Right now for the Desire im paying 60euro down payment and monthly 39 euro's for talking and internet in a 1 year contract.

but for the X10 i have to pay 100 euro's b4 n de same 39

@zbateni Yes, you can have 2 Yahoo accts and 2 Gmail accts and 1 Live acct! The Gmail accounts will be better with the push notifications, though. The Nexus One and Desire are not the same phone, no. The Nexus One is faster and more powerful - it has the same processor as the X10. If you're happy with your Desire, I would stick with that - no need to get the X10 - wait for even better, faster, cooler Android phones to come out!

@zbateni Haha, no worries! It can have up to (I believe) 3 Google accounts - so Gmail, Google Apps) and unlimited POP or IMAP accounts. The Google accounts will be push notified, like Blackberry. Have you checked out the Nexus One from HTC? It's an awesome phone, too!!

@zbateni Hi there! I work for @NorthGeek as well. There is currently no "out of the box" way to install apps on external memory with Android devices - Desire included.

The X10 didn't seem to have any software glitches, and an update to 2.1 does look promising, so stay tuned!

@o0th3Jok3R0o You have to click on the menu button when you're in camera mode and it's called "Camera Light" I believe - the setting is in there. Unfortunately, though, you can't have it "flash" on a photo - it's either on ALL THE TIME or it's off... Thanks for your question!
