I prefer the classical era, but Europa Universalis III is much more polished than EU:Rome, I specially dislike how religion works on EU:Rome.

In this game you can control an entire nation, not just a legion, like in Rome TW. I have Rome TW and EU Rome and I think both are pretty good.

This game is absolutley abysmal. There is no "strategy" to it. When an enemy army has their back to the Sea and lose a battle, I expect them to be destroyed, not retreat into one of my adjacent provines and take it. Pathetic. Paradox, get it sorted out, becuase we're all getting sick of your incompetence.
