  • 4 idiots need to slow down.

  • brilliant video

  • This song is one of my favourite Radiohead songs, it doesn't really go anywhere, but it doesn't need to, it's a song that makes you think :)

  • When a song this amazing doesn't make it onto an album you know you're dealing with Radiohead.

  • really nice with the snow effect youtube have got on at the moment

  • I feel like I am ascending up into outer space when I hear this. It is beautiful.

  • This song is special.

  • Favorite radiohead b side song <3

  • this should have been on side 1

  • @INTERPOLFAN17

A lot of radiohead's b-side songs are good enough for side 1. Just shows how amazing they are!

  • Dreeeeeeeeam

  • There There Chorus??... Recycle song!

  • IN RAINBOWS HAS A SECOND DISC I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT?!?!?!?!?! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE.

  • Hands down favorite song to smoke to by myself.

  • Hi! Somebody Checked out "fall away" Radiohead b-side (Youtube) ?

    It s awesome !

    Thxs for uploading...

  • Radiohead is my way out.

  • Which Radiohead song does this sound like? I cant put my finger on it.

  • @Electroma94 probably 'there there', especially ending

  • @earshaveears Yeah spot on. thanks. great song.

  • @Electroma94 On top of there there, the opening is similar to Wolf at the Door. But the other guy is right, the strongest similarity is there there. Still beautiful tho.

  • @Electroma94 Radiohead in a nutshell. No two of their songs sound the same.

  • @Unnamed0909 yeah sounds like the riff from There There

  • @Electroma94 Yeah sort of

  • Fake and Gay

  • @ARAGORN41 Thanks for sharing. It takes a lot of courage to admit that.

  • @ARAGORN41 Fuck you oh so very much!

  • Still can't believe this didn't make disc 1

  • Please post the lyrics--not because we need them, but because it would be an added bonus.

Thank you for posting this song and making known its existence.

  • Please post the lyrics--not because we need them, but because it would be an added bonus.

  • Listening to this song is torture for me, but I keep coming back to that old familiar feeling and I love it.

  • This album "In rainbows" is my favourite album of radiohead.. its depressing, sad, dark and just soooo good!!

  • thanks god music still has radiohead

  • Wow disk 2 isn't on iTunes

  • I can't think of a more beautiful interplay of electric piano, jangly electric guitar, and acoustic guitar then I hear in the verse of this song. Every single note is absolutely exactly what it's supposed to be. This song just makes me disappear for 3:50...

  • Radiohead is the most underrated band of all time... They influence my music with every song they make... Check out my songs!

  • @AJProductionisms They actually aren't too under-rated. (Compared to shiity pop music, yes) They were super popular in the late 90s

  • like a sleepy version of There There... sort of. I like it

  • this would have made a much better album ender than videotape.

  • @rockthered21 wow, never thought of that. I totally agree!

  • Amazing! does anyone know where i can BUY not download the in rainbows bonus disk? i cant find it anywhere.

  • It was a special edition. I'm afraid you won't find it easily.

Try AMAZON or WASTE UK and good luck!

  • @rockthered21

    ive looked for 3 years

    cant find it

  • Musical Deepness on it's climax...

  • goosebumps baby!

  • @JOLLYJOEY101 been there, done that. i don't get nearly as high as i used to though.

  • 3 people are going too fast.

  • listen to this with headphones. amazing. i love how the xylophone-type bell sound subtly kind of goes away in the climax of the song and then comes back at the end

  • Aren't those the same 4 notes like in the 2nd half of There There ("Why so green...")?

  • @alsa005 i thought the same thing. and they are.

  • @alsa005 they sue that a lot , also on thom yorks album , the eraser

  • @firedeathterror999 which songs? ^^

  • @alsa005 the only one i remember its Cymbal Rush , but there are a lot more

  • I always use this as my closer track in my In Rainbows playlist, right after Videotape. Superb.

  • Theres a second disk?! and its already started off good for me!!!

  • Hahaha radiohead's B-sides are better than most artists' album content. Losers.

  • Radiohead is my favorite band, without question..the new album is not bad at all, but I still miss this kind of tunes..anyway this song is just beautiful

  • Gorgeous.

  • reverb ftw.

  • Radiohead..my soultravel companions

  • If you take the song as if hes singing TO you, you start to understand the true meaning behind it. All of radioheads music is meant to "get you out" of your body, to take you back home. " Come slowly to me, iv been waiting". Its like god is singing to you to come back home. All of his music, is the same message. Go back home. Thats the sadness you hear. "theres a way out". He and many many other artists either knowingly or unknowingly, sing about taking you people back home to oneness.

  • @jimmymcgrinnyful You may have hit the bullseye with that one..

  • @jimmymcgrinnyful you need to get a life

  • @Schizima and you need to shut the fuck up, just because you don't agree with somebody's opinion doesnt mean you have to be a stupid little prick and try to down them, asswipe.

  • @jimmymcgrinnyful Don't compare god to Radiohead.

  • 3 people ran too fast..

  • Its like There There but with an extra dose of unimaginable sadness :D

  • 3 people dont like this song. so?

  • The most passionate song. My girlfriend is beautiful to me.

  • How to do a little depression in 3:50 ; ...

  • 3 people didn't go slowly.

  • @atmovidz 3 people were going 1000 feet per second.

  • @NINmindfreak27 Tourist reference, I like it!

  • i hit the dislike button just to be different. suck it.

  • @desmetdiver2010 yeah well nobody likes you.

  • any other good/sad songs like this?

  • @Meismeok921 yes. many.

  • simply amazing

  • this makes my heart hurt. i don't know why. it's like i need something but i can't put my finger on it. fuckin hell.

  • @Ballahollic0221 i love you

  • @Ballahollic0221 That's what musicians like Thom Yorke are for, they can express what we can't even put our fingers on. I know what you mean. I felt it a couple of times myself.

  • @Ballahollic0221 man do i know the feeling

  • @Ballahollic0221 Its called a shotgun in your mouth, just wait until 2012 and you can buy one at a corner store to cut corporate expenses.

  • @Ballahollic0221 yeah it sucks.

  • Can't believe this wasn't on the first CD. Best song out of the ENTIRE In Rainbows imo.

  • thumbs up if, at the part where Thom says "there's a way out", you thought "thank god!"

  • does anyone notice the beginning is the same as National Anthem

  • @akatsukiandy it's very very similar for the least

  • @akatsukiandy stole my comment lol

  • 3 people are going too fast

  • @earnst2w8 hahaha, i found this hilarious

  • @earnst2w8 Ten internets to you sir!

  • Simply hauntingly, brilliantly, beautiful.

  • Does the second guitar coming in towards the end remind anyone else of There There ?

  • @oliversenord I was going to write that! It's like a slower version of that epic end riff.

  • oh maria..

  • Every musician is influenced. It's what they do with it and Radiohead did a lot. You're missing the point if you're hung up on the details. Listen and enjoy.

  • I listened to this song a lot when I was going through a very rough period in my life. Today it came up on my media player and I burst into tears...

  • This should have been the last song on the proper album instead of Videotape

  • echt zo goed dit.. just so good this..

  • @miepdetruus ja toch

  • Probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Yorke's voice...just divine

  • these chords...are fuckin genius.

  • Why have I the sensation that this song is based on "There There"? I'm feeling that on of the rifts is the same...

  • @Manulion1er

It has similar hit noted to the bridge of "there there." I heard it right away too.

  • I love you RH

  • Hell i'll be the first to admit, I'm a rap person, but this song is just unbelievable!

  • @ccsballazdre damm man u have some guts to say that u rock!!

  • @pantapdiazho

I have nothing to hide. I'm open about my music. Yes I do lean towards the Rap persuasion(Yea I'm black). But I love songs like this. I mean really, this song is just like..... AHH I can't use words to describe. Puts me in such a chill mode.

  • @ccsballazdre same here brah, but it's all about knowing what the real music is also. gotta have that love for the instruments and the other types of story behind this music. personally radiohead is my favorite band, then comes A tribe called quest or De La Soul.

  • The second disc for In Rainbows should be more available to purchase. These songs are worthy of being part of the original album IMO.

  • Gives me the shivers. Not much more to say!

  • This would make the perfect song to the end credits of a movie

  • Unbelievably beautiful.

  • 1:58

  • there is music which u listen to and think that it might have been influenced by angels, its so melancholy and beautiful. this is definitly that kind of music.

  • I bet John Lennon would have loved Radiohead.

  • @tybaron23 I bet many people would have loved Radiohead.

  • @tybaron23 Interesting thought but I think so too.

  • @tybaron23 Probably, but I bet Radiohead wouldn't exist if it weren't for John Lennon.

  • @tybaron23 Or maybe completely hated it. Either way, you know it's good.

  • @tybaron23 I dont know, it's a good question. I think he would've given them technical props, but as to whether he would've listened regularly, who knows? I think he was a more "meat and potatoes" rock-and-roller, preferring B-52's as opposed to Pink Floyd (the thematic predecessor of Radiohead), so I think he would've appreciated their contribution to rock and artistry, but I dont think he would've really liked them honestly. Just different sensibilities. I know he would've hated the 80's.

  • Oh! Now I see more clearly... That's why Radiohead is the best band in the world.

My problems just got twisted in a big, sweet depression.

  • fml

  • such a good song

  • beautiful .simply a beautiful song.

  • @Radi0header

the singing is the only part of the 'head's music I'm uncertain about. sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. this is coming from the guy who didn't like creep :P

to clear it up, radiohead kick several species of shit out of most other artists :D

  • @ManiaKattaK you realize all true radiohead fans and radiohead themselves hate creep

  • @elurseeknay

except my dad apparently. but yeah, it's like muse and uno

  • i love rado head and i love rainbows :) wsome

  • I could listen to this a million times. Thom Yorke is god.

  • thom's wails from 2:54 until the end get me every time...

  • radiohead keeps getting better and better etc

  • it keeps getting better

  • Awesome

  • This song is beautiful. Should have been on the first disc. Last song. Very good song. I love it.

  • I want this to my funeral. Words fail to describe my emotions to this track of a song.

  • this is why it was left off in rainbows... for REAL radiohead fans to find on their second disc..... and love

  • This song haunts me when I try to sleep, and yet I love it

  • There's no words to describe this song, truely amazing. It just takes me away to another place.

  • Man the first 1:35 of this song could be the best music ever written ever

  • @scoutinternational I feel the same way dude.

  • @Radi0header is the best? no. this is very subjective. that said, I think also he is very good.

  • I'll go with my king.... slowly but 'ill go

  • 1:35 onwards is absolutely beautiful.

  • @OlympiaOverdrive Its just so amazing....No words for it..

  • How can this song not be considered one of Radiohead's greatest works?

The emotion and depth to this piece is simply incredible.

  • @BauerKillz my thoughts exactly

  • @BauerKillz That could be said about a large number of Radiohead's songs. Critics are probably too overwhelmed to cover it all. Haha.

  • @BauerKillz Any song could be considered one of Radiohead's greatest works. It all depends on how you look at it. Critics are pointless.

  • Thoms voice inflection here removes the negative energy in my life. Its Holy in a way.

  • I think the from the basement version is much better. This is a little too fast for Go Slowly.

  • one word....... AWESOME!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • It´s a real pity that this was only available on the Limited Edition and i missed buying it!!

  • you can buy the second cd of 'in rainbows' off of radioheads website still. Go to the w.a.s.t.e shop and look under 'audio and visual' and then click on 'digital' and there are all the downloads they have.

  • probably the best track of cd 2 second being last flowers

  • This could have replaced faust arp or EVEN videotape .....

    "There's a way out......"

    This is eternal this track

Picture an explosion -cloud- expanding in the air in slow motion appraoching you as you look at it from the top while you are falling down towards the earth in slow motion............

  • @YUSHCTK They could replace Bodysnatcher with this song. I just love this song, and i really dont like bodysnatchers.

  • @WirelessShuffle I think you have to be quite a special person to fully appreciate bodysnatchers. it's too weird for sane people I think to comprehend I believe.

    oh, and i'm sane btw.

  • @MartaineJr "oh, and i'm sane btw" What, so you don't 'get' Bodysnatchers either? ;)

Personally, I've heard weirder tracks, by Radiohead and others. IMO Bodysnatchers is in the same ball-park of discordant grating beauty as tracks like Myxomatosis or Electioneering - it shouldn't work but it does.

  • @LantaGem lol i don't get that song :P

and "it shouldn't work but it does." is probably the best way you could describe these songs. i'ma use it from now on XD

  • @LantaGem

i don't reckon myxomatosis is grating, tbh. it seems a little bit like the prodigy to me, and you could probably stick it on at the club and no-one would mind. right up until "the mangled cat came in"

  • @ManiaKattaK it's actually "the mongrel cat came home", but the point remains ;)

  • @ManiaKattaK As null140 says it's actually 'the mongrel cat came home'. But don't get me wrong, I certainly wouldn't walk out of a club if Myxomatosis came on.

However, the song is somewhat raucous and unmelodic, and Thom mumble-shouts his way through most of it which is what I meant by 'grating'. In other words it's no Fake Plastic Trees or Like Spinning Plates. Not that I expect him to sing in an angelic falsetto at all times either mind you. I really dig his style on Wolf at the Door.

  • beauty in pain!

  • Comment removed

  • So fucking beautiful. His voice is that of heavens cherubs.

  • Beautiful...

  • sooooo fuuuuckin beautiful. great song to fall asleep :P

  • This song is indescribably beautiful... Thom's voice is so haunting...

  • This song is too good, words can't describe.
