Previous Boards did not have Guts to ask him to perform duties thats why he was here for 27 years in 1991 he was asked to do same duties he resigned.. I agree with the above poster. veerji, I'm not sure how much you know about the protest, but this video cleverly only shows 3 minutes. in fact there were other speakers on different topics. for example, we used to have a youth darbar where we did all the seva. We also held discussions in an open forum, where anyone in the sangat could provide input, as to understand core principles of sikhi. however, the board decided we were "questioning too much" and kicked us out of the darbar hall.
All i can say is what I see, and currently with this you tube video, the group of people involved in the charade are involved in an anti-panthic actions. There is a hukam naama that does not allow Sikhs to protest in front of a gurdwara. Can you jatt81, guarantee that the 5 board members in question are the truthful beings they should be? Are you sure that some of them did not lie to stay in US? Just think about it and ask around? How many illegal things have gone around with the 5? Again calmly without getting angry. Just think.
