Why the hell did they choose Gyllenhall? Why not a more, you know, profound actor? Besides the fact that Disney is going to throw this franchise's reputation down the shitter, I'd like to see how the movie is going to turn out.

I mean the film wont be bad because of his dipiction but because of the weak story, lazy location work, bad supporting characters and lazy graphics....

i dont see any signs that he took steroids. people can get quite big easily these days without them through natural means. He doesnt look that huge anyway, not for his body size. I think he was already fit if you look through photos of him leading up to these so it probly wasnt much harder to eat a little more protein and spend more time training.

The games were super cool. This movie WILL suck. It'll be nothing like the games (And I mean, no blood, no gore, no violence) But then again, it is the same director that made The pirates of the caribbean. So I'm sure the storyline will be ok.. except for the blood, gore and violence..

You do know the Pirates of the Carribean movies were made by Disney, and they were rated PG-13. Those movies and alot of violence, some cursing, blood, and even some mildly graphic scenes. Sure disney is known for family friendly movie, but the Pirates of the Caribbean showed that could do more then that. And come on, you can't honestly think for even a second that they will try to make it G rated. Thats just silly. One of the things disney is known for is making good adaptations.

I think it's most likly that this movie will be rated PG-13. And even if it wasn't, it would be rated a Pg, and Pg movies can get pretty violent these days. It might not be as violent as the first Prince of Persia game, but they can still make it work. As for the names, I don't mind them giving the Price a name. Calling him just the prince may have worked in the games, but it make not work in a serious movie. I do agree about ferrah though. They didn't need to change her.

So a movie with multiple plot lines and almost 3 hours long is for retarded 6 yesr olds? Come on. Plus Pirates may not have been a kids movie, but was still a Disney movie, ment for the whole family to watch.
