Hey everyone, I just uploaded a new song for my solo project Glacierbrain. Its called The Nations Enemy. TVoR are a big influence on my music so if you wanna support some unsigned music I'd really appreciate it if you'd give it a listen, just visit my profile.
I was supposed to see them in Denver. Then they cancel their show. I was pissed and derogatory towards them. Then I hear about their bassist passing away. And immediately felt like a tool. Forgive me, TV On The Radio. You're art is beautiful!
Love the band "TV on the RADIO" I sure hope they are better than this live. `cause this was bad.. you ask why 35(36) dont like this. its because 36 people are´nt tone deaf!
Love the band "TV on the RADIO" I sure hope they are better than this live. `cause this was bad.. you ask why 35(36) dont like this. its because 36 people are´nt tone deaf!
@9494blahblah lol its kindof bad to be playing on TV and be facing the back. the rest of the band doesnt do that so why does he need to do that? seriously hes playing bass, most casual listeners dont listen to the bass. it looks really lame. but luckily, the rest of the band is rockin enough to make up for it.
Sitting here, listening to this and crying. I just got back and find out about Gerard's passing on the 20th. It hurts to hear it. Thank you, sir, for all the amazing music. Thank you for being amazing. Thank you, and all of TV on the Radio, for saving me countless times. <3
Gerard Smith, your basslines will forever be engraved in my mind. Thank you so much for the countless times that I have gotten lost in your playing. You will be very well remembered and missed. RIP, good man.
@nickdoesntcare Gerard Smith did like to pay extra attention to his amp. Unfortunately his problem was lung cancer which he passed away from this morning 4/20/11. We'll miss you Gerard.
Anyone else notice that (thankfully) they must have turned Kyp Malone's guitar OFF or way down so you couldn't hear it? He's not even playing anything.
think bout it, they come from brooklyn, n tht aint no lovely place, it can be fuckin rough, but yet they do this music, they aint complainin bout where they come from, they wasnt swayed and influenced by the other asshole "gz" around them, those "gz" fail at life, and so they gotta act hard cos they aint got any other option, ther insecure, these guys just do their thing and its impressive, as a white guy to see black men doin this music, where they come from etc, brilliant.
rock on brothers this is a good influence on all those fuckin lil punk ass whining "Gz" who complain bout coming from a rough area, man look at these guys right here, they come from brooklyn and look what they doin, they aint spreadin tht rap shit, further doomin those youngens into goin into gangs thinkin its cool n shit, these came from tht area and done well for themselves, impressive. More impressive than any "gangsta" this is real talent, take note lil brothers these r real men.
halogenke680 please understand that the majority of American Rock music is based off of Blues, Soul, Gospel and Rhythm & Blues( Black people especially Black men influences) acts. If you were not so ignorant and suffering from whatever childhood bully moment you are having, you would see that.
to the posts below this...get a life guys, put down the dictionaries, take a break from youtube. On a positive note...this band rocks, so glad i found them randomly today. I love when that happens!
You call this music? No wonder Lady Gaga is so goddamn popular, even Justin Bieber is better than this digusting mess of garbage. Not to mention there is a nigger singing which right there should be enough to deter anybody. I am going to declare a war on suck, starting here.
@AlbertWesker420 Wow, could you make your lack of intelligence any more obvious? Does someone really need to point out to you that there is a massive amount of human beings present on this planet we are NOT all going to have the same taste in music? Really? Your racial slurs are also completely unnecessary and only make you appear to be 13 years old. Grow up. Spend your time on something a little more positive and productive and maybe you won't care so much about a band you think sucks.
@humancircuitry Actually, your attempt to make yourself appear to be articulate is rather insulting. Only a vexatious pre-teen would call somebody a "13 year old" on the internet which would thus insinuate that the person saying the phrase is, indeed, older than 13. I'm confident in saying that you are just a little kid trying to appear as a ferocious yet ostentatious lion over the internet.
@AlbertWesker420 If only you knew. I am anything but a lion, and probably older than you, unfortunately. In case you didn't notice, there are a limit to how many characters that can be typed into this small box, or my rant would be decidedly longer. I didn't actually say you were a 13 year old, I said you appear to be one since most people who leave insulting comments are either that age or have the same maturity level. Ever heard of the phrase "Whatever floats your boat?" Think positive.
@AlbertWesker420 I really do love it when people try to look smart by using words like "vexatious" and "ostentatious" to try to insult people over the internet...and really just end up looking like morons.
@ChunkBGSU im pretty sure youre kidding (i laughed) but just in case the bass player has anxiety and doesnt like crowds so he never faces them so that he can play without fucking up
note the trees because the dirt is temporary more to mine than fact face name and monetary be what you will and then thrown down your life oh it's a damned fine game and we can play all night beat the skins and let the loose lips kiss you clean quietly pour out like light like light, like answering the sun
love this version and also the version of Wolf Like Me on Letterman!!! like the album but here it feels like a perfect sketch full of energy, the album versions strive too much for some sort of over analyzed perfection. i hope this band grows to to RULE the music scene!
They really dropped the bass right out of the mix. I really dont like this version at all. The main drive of the original was the overdistorted bass and instead we get a double dose of delay/reverb guitar and almost no bass.
